Cost and value are different bear in mind. If it's cheap, but can't trade as well (as I've seen negatives about 212), then it's not good value.

I'm with HL, but my SIPP/ISA/GIA are a reasonable value and so are my trades. Therefore, paying £5.99/trade is background noise. If you are trading smaller values, then the dealing charges might hit your margins more.

I make no apologies for bumping this (as this is an excellent source of info) - took a bit of time to find it, but hopefully the newbies will get some benefit from it.

I really don't understand him at all. I've looked at his posting history and he seems to participate on other boards, but all he ever says here is something linked to 30p target price.

Never any justification or reasoning. I'm loathed to call him a "pump &dump" but if it walks like a duck.....

When it gets to £1+, you won’t be concerned whether you bought in at 20p or 28p.
Ok, you may have less shares, but you’ll still be making a bundle :-D

I think there is a lot of confusion around the term de-risk, as it is given 2 different meanings.

Meaning 1 :
People say the de-risked value of all 4 wells is £1.33 (assuming everything else is unchanged).
What this means is that there is discovery on all 4 wells.

Meaning 2 :
People also say that if the is a discovery at Tai it de-risks the other drills.

Well, clearly both cannot have the same definition, as you could get a discovery at Tai and failures in the other 3.

The use of de-risk is also in the Hannam document and causes ambiguity.

A discovery at Tai LOWERS the risk but does not de-risk IMO. De-risked should mean the risk has been removed not reduced. Just my opinion.

First, there are lots of unknows:
1. Number of targets which are successful in each drill.
2. Concentration of gas in each target.
3. Size of each reservoir.
4. Price of Helium.

The de-risked price for all 4 drills is £1.33 on a concentration % of 4.2.
Assuming that all 4 drill are successful at the estimated reservoir sizes (big call), then if the concentration is 8.4%, the de-risked price would be £2.66.
Then, factor in that HE1 have used a conservative price for HE, and £2.66 could be broken easily.

That does not factor in the expectation of future successful drills, not the huge unexplored areas.
Nor does it factor in the fact the the reservoirs could be 'recharging'.

So, giving anyone a SP is pure guesswork unless you know then answers to some of the above.

It would not be an unreasonable assumption that MOST people on here will be men and MOST people will be English (purely based on this being a UK BB and England has the largest % population of the UK). I'm sure the OP meant no offence and, being honest, if someone really took offence at a general comment of being accused of being English then they would have very thin skin. However, I do think it's pretty safe to say that @dai isn't English haha.

When I see posts like his, I just think he must be a sad, pathetic loser really.

If he seriously thinks than anyone would be suckered in by such garbage, it makes you question his cognitive abilities. It’s not either amusing not believable.

Anyone, all of us long-term holders will have been pleased by the tweet and the upbeat message it sends. If we have to wait until next week (or even longer) for the main RNS, then this should help some of those who may have been waivering.

Good job they did really. They could say it was an office mistake which they corrected.
My sentiments haven't altered though. Do be publishing a relaxed/happy video if the drilling had issues would not be being done.
I genuinely cannot see anything apart from positive signals in this.

That's my concern too bamb.
This could be viewed as market sensitive information if we announce a discovery by next Monday.
Strikes me as a little careless (but I'll forgive him as he's clearly a passionate CEO and has put many years of his life into this).

Thinking about this a bit more: If there were problems on-site, would you be putting out such a tweet?

What’s happening now is background noise (unless you’re looking to trade short-term).

I’m in this for the longer term (holding 7 figures worth) and, although the drop in value in my SIPP/ISA/GIA is not good to see, the reality is we’re all in this for the results of the drilling campaign. But the end of the year, we won’t care about daily/weekly values which occurred during July/August.

Just give me discoveries, high concentrations and a SP over £1.50. Cushty haha

Welcome to the dark side my friend. It's looking good there I think. Hopefully we'll get some news on both within a couple of weeks :).

I initially thought Monday next week (after we had the delay due to the dill issue), but it would seem as though it will/could be another week after that.

Be interesting to see what happens to the SP next week if we're still waiting. I'd imaging we'd just drift between 22 and 23.5 all week again.

At east we know it should be within 10 days (should being the key word lol).
