Yeah, those purchases after last weeks RNS got me to 3m. Then I stopped - and started to panic haha.

Great RNS and the message this sends to the market is clear. It says that they are very confident in the Tai location - and they have the data which they have analysed.

My only question - do you think this will be a 6 inch hole or another 4 inch?

You seem to have taken this whole ‘washout’ news extremely badly - sorry it’s impacted you so much. I’m down about 1/3 on my investment here which of course hurts (a few know I hold a LOT of these).

My take is that they need time to develop a plan and I would hope there is clarity by the end of next week at the latest. (Of course, there is no guarantee).

However, as I have posted before, I do feel as though DM and the team were extremely confident that they were about to announce a discovery. I don’t feel there was any deliberate intent to deceive, and they are working hard exploring various options/scenarios. These things happen in exploration, but the project still makes sense. The HE is there and at some point they will get a discovery.

Without wishing to sound patronising (not my intention), maybe it would be good for you to take a few days away from monitoring the SP movements (we all do it I know). The next decisive movement will only likely happen from an RNS. I don’t see much downside from here being honest, maybe a drop into the 10 range, but it’s just drifting waiting for news.

Just my opinion - but here goes :).

If the shares are ‘sticky’ (not a lot of people buying/selling) then it can be difficult to get trades. It’s something which I encounter fairly often and don’t try to read too much into it.
I just try to accept that we are what we are (PI’s) and that we are seen as fair game.

As for price falls; it is the summer months when there is less activity (more people on hols), and also, AIM seems to be drifting lower recently on quite a lot of stocks (well, the ones I’m in and watching anyway).

I would expect activity (and hopefully prices) to pick up into Sep. Just hope we don’t get an autumnal market correction as they seem to occur more at that time of year than at others.

Same for me - nearly a sea of red.

I’ve had big swings down, up then back down over the last 6 weeks or so. It’s not nice, but comes with the territory :).

Luckily ADV is a good performer for me, and I’m looking forward to good returns over the next 4 months or so, and if/when the new deals get finalised, then the rises will be very good.

High hopes here.

The 2 months was originally mentioned by you and not me. That is what I disagree with. I don’t expect a plan yet (of course, I’d be very happy if there were).

If there are discussions with other parties (JV/buyout - pure speculation of course), then I would expect a longer period of silence.
If not, then I would hope a plan would br divulged say by a week Friday, which will be 3 weeks since they encountered the issues.

I don’t think we’re actually disagreeing - it’s the 2 months timeline from your earlier post which may be the misunderstanding lol.

If DM had doubts as you postulate, then WTF was he doing talking about ‘off-take’ agreements and having tweets with ‘discovery’ as a tag?

I don’t believe they had another plan as I feel the original drill was expected to be a discovery and then sh&t happened. I get that and am relaxed about it.

However, the “short rains” are in Nov/Dec and the “long rains” in Mar-May, so the window to drill again before May of next year is closing fast. I am not expecting to be updated everytime DM f&rts, but I also would not expect silence for 2 months.
I get it that plans will need to be revised but it won’t take 2 months to decide what those plans are. It may take 2 months to action them, and that is a very different thing.

The only interesting conundrum here is what news would be forthcoming if they have started discussions about being acquired or a JV? They will have more data on from the drill to TD available than has been made public, and this could be very interesting to prospective partners. However, these discussions would have to be held in radio silence I expect.

The problem we have it that in Nov/Dec they have the "short rains" so drilling may no be possible then.
Then you only have 2 months (Jan/Feb) until the "long rains" of Mar-May.

So, if we don't do anything soon, we may be waiting until May/June next year before we start the next drill.

They don't have 2 months to p**s about IMO. I'm not throwing a strop and saying I demand to know now, but you would expect some contingency planning would have been done as this was a 3-4 hole plan.

IMO, 2 months under these circumstances is unreasonable not to advise investors of the next steps.

I get what you're saying and we need them to be able to make decisions on the things which they understand and which, with respect to posters, most PIs don't (and I include myself in that). I know some on here are knowledgeable and have relevant experience which has been very useful. DM and the team will have the data from TAI-1 and I'm sure this will be used to determine their next steps.

On the other hand, some explanation of their thoughts would not be an unreasonable request. They laid out their initial plans for a 3-4 hole drill campaign, followed by the appraisals (if required lol). We've had one drill which went over time and then the project seems to have stopped. Nothing about drill number 2, etc.
It would need seem unreasonable to be wanting some clarification within a reasonable timescale, and 2 months is not what I would class as reasonable in these circumstances.
