PL, correct me if I'm wrong, but Medusa can sell for 'professional use' to businesses and govts, though not exclusively.

Just looking at Emma's (our new recruit) CV. Spent the last 2.5 years working for DWF, the largest quoted law firm in the UK. Similar Mcap to Avacta, but have 31 offices worldwide. That's quite a significant career move for a lady of about 30yrs of age. She obviously sees great potential with Avacta and thinks she'll be kept pretty busy. Cambridge Uni 2.1 grad, so no slouch either.

Luke, this is the wording you are looking for re: query 2. It appears in the Lateral Flow - Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) from March 2021. Notably, the original £912m tender did not include this wording, so somebody has made the conscious decision to give the DHSC 'flexibility' when it comes to the govt test of choice in the latter tender (DPS).

That's good news for Avacta. Innova would know better than anybody the future demand for LFT's.

Also, as AS has stated our main problem is capacity, rather than demand. We'll sell all we can make regardless of whether or not Innova manufacture in the UK. So, doesn't really affect us, as I see it.

Don't really get that much rubbish on the Avacta board, I think they gave up a while ago. But this board is just unreadable at times. I don't know how this 'team' get away with it. Just got to keep reporting them, otherwise nothing will change. Got a sizeable amount invested here and I'm getting really fed up with this orchestrated market manipulation.

That's a great point CO. You'd have to think that if the govt backed out of 'sovereign' project (unlikely as it seems), Avacta must be odds-on to pick up the extra GAD govt capacity...our test being demonstrably better than theirs and TT already done.

Wyn, it's already been pointed out by a few, that your worse case domestic scenario is somewhat simplistic (not intended as a criticism of you, by the way, since it's often useful to look at worse case settings). But just to add to the debate, I take great comfort in Avacta's tie up with Mologic. I think this greatly mitigates your pessimistic scenario, since Mologic have huge global reach and if we end up selling zillions to lower/mid income countries at lower margins, that's just one of the alternative international routes to market for Avacta. And, there are many more lucrative international routes to market, I should add. I was reading the other day, that it will probably take about 5 years to fully vaccinate the planet.

This is from the MHRA in reply to an application to register the Flowflex LFD as posted by me almost a couple of weeks ago. The application letter was submitted to MHRA on Monday 25 Jan 2021 and this letter of registration is dated Wednesday 10 Feb 2021. That is 2 calendar weeks plus 2 days between submission and registration.

So if we can match that we should hear from AS on Wednesday. Anything before that is a bonus.
