The reducing of numbers of new infections is only due to 6 weeks of lockdown. What happens to come out of lockdown, surly a quick point of use test in the morning, before work to confirm that there isn't a trace of you shedding any virus so you aren't infected so you know you can't transmit that day. Would not only benefit your peace of mind but could be essential to go to work etc. Shopping, and normal life. IMO

Agreed, however some treatments currently in trials are only hospital based. Again a massive income for hospitals from the government are from surgeries and treatments. Which are being put off at the moment. The benefits of treating at home are enormous.

So based on that each adult of working age, 5 * tests a week, for the 20-30 million.
Kids at school *5 per week
Students * when ever they can be arsed to go out. Etc. My opinion DYOR.

Testing is important for lockdown to end, testing will be fundamental for this to happen. A good way to do it would test first thing before going out every day. And then proving before public transport or your work place that you are not contagious. Tests would need to be cheap, available and reliable

I would image the shear quantity needed they would come up with some sort of deal. Bulk buying etc. Plus in the UK the government will underwrite the cost as NHS is free at the point of use, but there is always a bill for someone to pay. Again you can't put a price on someone's life. Or cost to overcrowded hospitals. If sng works then I could limit the amount of people going to hospital. Wards then can carry on with the enormous back log of treatments which will need to be done, cancer surgery etc. People need to think of the huge benefit somthing like this would perform.

Agree with you there, the sp is doing nothing, about the same price as a month ago, for a 14 day trial, I believe this drug will work but without any updates. It is getting hard work.
