I think that posters need to think a bit more about the application for UKEF. The fact is that two different Governments Cons and Lab have both rejected it. I would call the Cons Gov a rejection due to the duration,media info and reading between the lines. so instead of blaming both governments; the important questions that have not been answered need to be asked. In the Application what was the "exact" list of criteria to meet.? what "specifically" did the application fall down on.? How far did it fall down by? We are all presuming it is the Sc ferry but I don't think that's all and I believe the local politican's (esp GR)know but are not saying. Will the changes that R Downs is going to implement alter the Figures/info sufficiently so that the Application can be reapplied for soon and possibly fast tracked through and granted? I still think that with J Woods no longer a Dir. that something inappropriate has been done. I have an inkling I know what it is but I will not post up here for obvious reasons.
