Tata looking for a subsidy /grant of £500m directly from taxpayers so they can sustain themselves and also then lay off possibly 1000 workers.

H+W looking a comm. loan from banks for £200m not affecting taxpayers so they can sustain themselves and take on another 1000 workers for future expansion.

The GB energy concept that Labour have in mind -what part would H+W fit into this jigsaw. and what is a minority stake(20-49%) If this were to pan out it would take a while to negotiate and implement but could be very interesting. on another matter the recent NI defense select comm.should be rushing through their findings asap as it most relevant to H+W and Spirit right "now"-not in 2025.

BC 9;27 t.b.h. If a Cons Gov was coming back in with J Hunt I would be much more concerned. H Benn is well respected and listened to as well. H+W seem to be working well with Unions and I believe this will stand to them.posting this again in-case anyone missed it.

Tks stokey I would have thought that the threat of blowing up the undersea gas supply from Norway was the most realistic of all threats i.e. one that targets energy-which russia adopts. It would have huge repercussions for UK but no deaths. and not a military target. This could realistically happen this coming winter as Russia have publicly stated their desire to hit back at UK and odyssey- not H+W at fault for any delays.👍

Tav tks for reply My own opinion is that if they have overextended by a margin,is it enough on a pros/cons benefit analysis to support the company. I strongly believe the pros outweigh the cons.
