The v.g.pay rise seems strategic and can only pile on a bit more pressure on an incoming labour gov.

Will labour gov not support a company that I imagine the Unions are currently very happy with.?

also have to bear in mind that if H+W are able to get their workforce up to 2500 within 24 months as they have stated, this brings potentially 90-100m /annum of direct wages to the UK economy.This has to have a bearing on decisions i.m.o.

For me the main thing I would like to see in the Accounts is a more accurate and up to date picture on the Breakeven figure that is needed, and the forward rev to achieve this and a realistic timeframe of when this could be achieved.

I would have thought that rather than trying to find someone for a relatively short duration, would the company not have a PrEng in other yards that can be relocated temporarily rather than trying to recruit.

I don't understand why so many supposed shareholders cannot hold their fire until Accounts are reported,a decision made on the future of IM and a trading update -All Imminent. I am not happy with communications from the bod,or them getting invested in a ferry business but I also believe before executing anyone it is normal civilised practice to find them guilty first. Considering the yards are busy and will be soon starting to pay their way, contracts pending, unions in check, A good safety record,and good recruitment of all positions incl apprenticeships appointed.

I was thinking more with BAE's Nautomate Auto capability developed and these mine hunter mother ships linking in with supporting Autonomus hunters, I thought it would be a better fit.

Stokey An ideal solution would be a H+W BAE collaboration. so you're getting the extra yard capacity that H+W can give regarding fabrication and the project led by BAE.

Reading this article from 2022 makes it seem that if 5.8m is spent on repairs it will prolong Fipass for three years (2025) I don't know if they spent money on this; but I would say that this whole project is getting to the stage of being very Urgent

Atlantic Wolff Update (probably posted already?)

The vessel has now re entered the water in Portsmouth and undergoing final works, the project has indeed been challenging in many ways to ensure the vessel is in a material condition that we are comfortable with. We are now very close to being operationally ready, with our gangways having been load tested and our additional structure for the top deck loading will be fitted next week.

The regulatory authorities have been back onboard the vessel this week where they have witnessed the emergency deployment of the life raft system and the crew have demonstrated the safe evacuation of passengers. We are in the final stages of flagging the vessel into the UK Ship Register and we look forward to seeing the red ensign flying proudly on the back of the vessel shortly.

Whilst we are not yet ready to accept passengers, we do believe by early / mid July we will be in a position to do so.

We appreciate this is disappointing, but we are very close to welcoming you onboard what is a fantastic vessel. We will provide another update before the end of June to keep you all updated on our progress.

As soon as we have regulatory clearance to sail we will open up our payment gateway to start accepting payments.
