So it looks like our secret weapon now has an official name - Haematokine
Another important area - blood cancers - lymphoma and leukemia , and again one where doesn't look like there is much in the way of treatments - chemo , radiotherapy and stem cell transplants .
But I'm not 100% clear if this is the same secret weapon we were talking about in March .
Back then they RNS'd that they had a new patent and ownership of an A0c3 inhibitor , and blurb about vascular diseases .
I guess it is , as the pipeline shows H as a A0c3 inhibitor , but maybe we will see more pipeline applications appearing , as they apply it to more illnesses ( I had vascular diseases down as inflammation and diabetes etc , not leaukemia and lymphoma cancers ? )
At least we know with Faron that they file their patents well , and will have all the bases covered .
Also noticed that they now have Clevegen showing up in preclinical studies for hematological malignancies , in addition to the solid tumor studies . So not only is is being tried in 10 different solid tumor cancers , it is now obviously showing potential in blood cancers .
Talk about one ring to rule them all !
Traumakine - now showing the REMAP and Solidarity trials , and Hibiscus in the USA awaiting initiation.
R & S trials both showing as PHASE 3 - so any positive results from them could and should lead straight to market authorisation , or EUA at least whilst Hibiscus gets carried out .
Its been a long time since we heard Markku talking excitedly ( well as excited as you can get being Finnish ) about the manufacturing ramping up to commercial volume and being ready to make the next step .
As usual - lots of news overdue , and we are sure to get some on or before Thursday 24th .
