Noticed that Faron will be attending a virtual conference 14th-16th Sept- The 22nd HC Wainwright Investment Conference .
HCW seem to be a leading US Investment organisation , specialising in raising funding , particularly in the pharmaceutical arena .

Interesting too that they are wheeling out Farons Vice President of Funding , Yrjo Wichmann for the presentation and conference call on Sept 24th . I'm sure he will have some interesting updates .

As expected though , the news vacuum at FARN sucks the SP back as always .
We are used to it now .
Still , better to be drifting in the £4s not the £2s .

Look as SNG , great results , but again in a news vacuum awaiting the outcome , it slips 25% .

Good news is we are nearly into the Markku ' shareholder added value season ' .

Hey I know its only twitter , but that is quite a juicy little signal there Itasall - considering who it comes from , and the fact that she doesn't tweet much .
We know Clevegen has performed well and above what was even expected with early trials - can't wait for next update !

There is definitely something brewing over Clevegen . I'd quietly hoped the SP might slip a bit more one last time for a top up , as I'm getting increasingly certain that this is going to blow soon . We would normally be in the slow slide back down at the moment , but either sentiment or confidence have kept the handbrake on .

If you're Nigel from accounts , its your big day . You have to sit there in Turku crunching the numbers all year , listening to ' Markku this and Markku that ' . Well 24th Sept is Nigels day lol ( just checked , he's actual Toni , not Nigel )

Thats a bit more like it today- SP rising a bit to reflect our value .
Pharmas taking a hammering this week - people getting nervous - taking their chips off the table in case things don't work out .
If we get close to big news , I do expect we will get played a bit , up and down shakes , the usual thing .
But we seem to be holding our own well at the moment , with not much official news .

Possibilities -
1.) He and his snake oil salesmen buddies have made up a new therapy that the rest of the world has never heard of, and that despite probably having no clinical evidence showing any trials or any effectiveness , will just talk over any interviewer questioning its validity , and use his power and influence to force Governmental health bodies to waste precious time and effort to look into the therapy , eventually proving that its worthless , but in the mean time allowing his cronies to make money out of the whole affair , and taking the limelight off his presidential rival at a key moment in the election.
2.) See number 1.

Hard to believe we were scraping £2.89 a few weeks ago .
Let the evidence keep stacking up .
I wonder if we will get a Clevegen update next - the R&D day was focused 90% on that drug - so much news anticipated there .

I used to work on 18% off the Nas price was often our bid price .
So 5.64 euro finish gives us about £4.78 .
We were punching above our weight most of today - but the price was fairly sticky.
Hard to know who's the dog and who's the tail these days .
Lots of pharma action going on - we're the new Gold !

Imagine where this will go when we actually get some big news !

Despite it looking like a fairly non newsworthy RNS , it has given us some new information :

1.) a new 7 year loan of 2.5 miilion euros basically from the Finnish state , matching the existing loan from Business Finland , both interest free for 2 years .
2.)AGC Biologics chosen for commercial manufacture of T . Up until now we didn't know what was sorted . And we still have the Rentschler arbitration to come .
3.) Solidarity trial - we suspected that Remdesivir & IFN Beta1a were the only two current candidates left , but this confirms it . Most importantly , as someone noticed earlier, we now are in there as a monotherapy . This is first confirmation of that fact .
4.) It looks like T is being used in the most severe cases ( where high serum concentration is needed ) . This points to the I/V delivery method being used in these cases . Injected dosing is of no interest to Faron study .
5.) Hibiscus yet to kick off , but news that it will run dexamethasone and a placebo .

I was hoping to read Markkus comments including ' we are pleased to have secured additional bottles of Bollinger , and now have 2 additional trestle tables set up in the meeting room for nibbles '

Like CB mentioned , Clevegen is likely to be bigger than Traumakine in the long term .
Over 14 million euros recent placing - all to be directed at Clevegen development .
Commercial manufacturing partnership all sorted .
100% owned therapy , as is T at the moment .
Good times ahead

Great news . Not the biggy but real steps forward with the manufacturing & confidence in the drug .
Finnvera is a specialised financing company owned by the State of Finland .
And great that the tie up with AGS Biologics covers T & C . One good partner for manufacturing so no more squabbling with the likes of Rentchler etc .
Onwards and upwards !

Noticed that the Faron website had a little tweak today . Pages look a little crisper , and the font has changed .
Every little helps .
Please don't tell me a font change at 11.29 this morning caused a 15% surge in the SP .

I think its about 81k Div , still more than us at about 62k .
Big day nethertheless , and as usual with no news that we know of to cause it
apart from the distant sound of a cork popping ?

The only I/V trials for Interferon Beta as far as I know are REMAP ( 100% I/V ) and Solidarity ( both injected and I/V I'm assuming as Faron have just donated their drug in addition to others )
