Nonsense... ECB has done plenty or rate cuts so the falls will reduce to stabilise, followed thereafter by a resumption to growth.

Clearly you missed the last set of growth figs showing very decent progress (aside from Germany... also since last summer ECB has been aggressively cutting rates - so 6-9 months later on I expect the German wing of the VOD business to settle down and begin growing again).

That's where I think it could head on global turbulence. In the mid-long term IMO VOD will easily hit 80p+ (being conservative) and 100p-120p is not inconceivable if fast forwarding to 3yrs time. Those are my price expectations and what I am basing my investment strategy here upon.

If on results day CPI posts 9% fall in revenues how do you reckon the market will react?

Franalex - good points and TBF Serco could make a bid if they see value... or they may have the opinion it's far cheaper & easier to just keep on beating CPI at contract tendering, as CPI clearly still uncompetitive anyway (lost out to Serco on that big military recruitment contract). Serco could see the upcoming FY results as a moment to strike (if they are interested in buying up CPI to grow their own business).

Guess time will tell 🤷

One thing is known... AH has a track record of selling off component parts of failing businesses and prepping them for acquisition by a bidder.

BT losing market share and their costs are not substantially falling like they said they would do. Yes, they escaped the Patourel legal case (would have dented BT significantly) but I don't think their stock is worth the prices being currently paid on the market I still expect BT to retreat back towards £1.30p. While over summer I think VOD will begin to pickup upwards momentum 😎

They do so in tranches, daily until the whole lot are eventually sold off. Which BTW is precisely what I had explained in my previous post on here lol 😆

Slackermark - you haven't completed the picture there...

All unsold (albeit underwritten) RI shares outstandimg will at the other side of the process (post RI) be put back onto the trading market (usually they're drip fed daily, for what can be many weeks/months after...

That tends to depress the SP and can even send the SP below the RI price (esp. if there's low demand and/or heavy selling by holders who decide they want out)...

There's a long road ahead yet and the process isn't as straightforward as you're portraying with your post!
