The more info emerges... the more I think a Serco takeover of CPI appears as potentially the most optimum way forwards for CPI LTH's. Just sharing my very honest opinion here.

An oxymoron... elevated inflation simply means the divi received has reduced spending power (as each £ buys one less goods/assets)

Road User charging is massively flawed.

Why charge only the direct users? When all citizens indirectly benefit from national road infrastructure. A fools errand which overly loads all the costs onto only the direct users.

VOD had decent results (Germany aside, plus ECB already well into its rounds of rate cuts over there which will stabilise the situation in due course)...
