Dartron - 100% agree with you about some LTH's needing to exit before the move to MM. I'm presume I'm pretty much following the same strategy as you are I think?! Pound cost averaging to buy tranches periodically, slow & steady, rather than attempting to buy a large amount, and potentially miss opportunities to buy up at better prices... Personally, I'm content with purchasing this stock at any price sub £2.50p, it pays a sensible divi (not too low, and equally not so high that it raises questions of affordability of the divi either!)
It's a business which is a little bit niche, but not so niche that a global shock strikes and it's suddenly a worthless equity. IMO GB Group fits the bill of just being a nicely balanced stock, on which I can have hope of a solid return - equally without fearing I may lose all my invested cash at the stroke of Donald Trump's pen, on a spontaneous new executive order!
One thing helps especially, falling BoE interest rates will make it less and less attractive to be sat holding cash in the bank or savings accounts... far more attractive to have that money invested into equities (particularly if inflation remains elevated too). I want to have already bought up healthy amounts of several stocks, prior to the masses of other investors reaching this inevitable realisation for themselves!
DYOR - IMO
