Kipper9 & Macy - I agree, Aim is a trader and has posted useful info, somwtimes with sound evidence to back their points (though sometimes they haven't provided sound evidence and could have done better).

Vast majority of the time I've found AimMaster2018 has given their opinions respectfully too 👌😎

Whitty responses provide well humour but... there's never any justification for blatant insults and agression which sadly some (not including Aim) on here do take part in from time to time.

AimMaster2018 - 💯👌😎 - these HY results are nailed on to fall short of expectations and the timing could not be worse IMO, what with Daltry's Orange man spouting lots more tariff prose.

Robleo is correct, HL have always paid me divi (usually in afternoon of Divi payment day but sometimes AM) 👌😎

How one has their account setup does matter though because other options are possible like the automatic divi reinvestment.

Personally I dont like reinvestment because divis else one can just be getting rich on paper and never get to enjoy the benefits (if the stock invested into were to go to the wall). Better IMO to take the divis out but that's solely my person stance 👌😎

Oh and just before someone posts 'turnover is vanity, profit is sanity' or some other version of it...

Remember this: Sure revenue figs, used on their own, can give a completely false impression of fiscal health but... there are time periods through which revenues can become very important for determining the financial health of a business, and right now - in my opinion - I happen to think the revenues figures are one of the most, if not the most, important financial factors for CPI 👌😎

The primary difficulty CPI has though is FCF is not the be all and end all...

The accounting exercise, to drive up the FCF figure is bound to be revealed as dark art through the continuing lacklustre revenues which cannot be hidden (except through using asset sales to plump up those revenue figs which we know has been going on).

So even if FCF sees an uplift there's a deeper and much more serious problem here with the falling CPI revenues - which any investor worth their salt will spot and therefore use to make their own determination if CPI is turning around, or not...

Yes, It's possible to change the setting in HL to specify to only pay you at the end of the month but... to do so seems like madness to me (unless simply to make doing your accounting more straightforward).

RNS shows Aegon Ltd dropped some of their stake here - appears to align with the recent drop so that's interesting. Their loss I suppose!

Trisor - Maybe you can ask, via IR, why it is that AH and BOD are rigidly sticking to the pursuit of such high margins? - It doesn't look to be working as a strategy because CPI is losing out to competitors - shown by the low figs from sales dept and it's even dented renewals too which really should be in the high 90%'s and not in the 80%'s where they are currently.

i.e. Why are CPI not seeking to do deals at more restrained margins and then, throughout duration of the contacts sold, seeking to bag efficiency gains - to cut the costs of delivering those sold contracts (to grow the margin post the initial sale)?!

CPI's competitors are doing better deals and it means they're stealing CPI's lunch - fundamentally that's why I think CPI is currently in the sheer mess it finds itself in. IMO - DYOR

Daltry - We disagree on many things, your love of Trump for one but... where I wholly agree with you on is: what anyone does with their own money is their own business. Also disagreement and hearing different opinions from ones own is healthy, and those who seek to try to shutdown conversations clearly lack mental strength to handle the fact others see the world differently!

Ironknut - Depends entirely on your situation. I've bought in very recently at ~228p and I'll be adding more when I think the SP is well-priced. I'll let you know how I get on but I entirely expect to harvest a profitable bounty here! DYOR - IMO
