Look I'm just a regular PI who some time back along considered investing into CPI, I asked some open albeit difficult questions about CPI's finances and then received a barrage of vitriol... now that made me deeply suspicious that something was very wrong with CPI and so far I've proven to have been broadly correct in my suspicious, and I'm so glad I never invested into this stock. Yet some keep on ramping it and speculating about £6 a share... and here we are today with it falling below £2.70 (and it'll go lower IMO)...

You can hate all you wish but I've done sound analysis on the CPI financials, I made a forecast and for the most part yet again my forecast has mostly been correct (I was close last time around for the FY2024 results). You may label me 'unbelievable', I would defend my record and say I'm being realistic about the CPI forward direction 👍😎☀️

CraigJD - sales significantly below bid price can take place when there's sellers unloading at a time where there's little to no buying appetite. Can also be 'off-book transactions' which are the mn later being registered & appearing on the trades panel.

AimMaster2018 - CPI definitely going down IMV because yesterday's poor results and tomorrow's rate cut will make many other equities a better play 😎☀️

You lack logic and any proper critical thinking... folks like you are usually angry because you're sitting on big losses, and lashing out to intimidate and shutting down proper discussion is your only hope to get out of the hole you've dug for yourself. Abuse and aggression isn't manly and strong... it's bullying and shows you up to have a weak mind, and no rational case to calmly put forwards for proper debate/discussion 👍

Heatseeker77 - I shared some of my Trades on BT & VOD. I made a very decent wedge from BT having bought close to £1 and sold off for ~£1.46-49. And I made a good wedge from VOD having also bought in low 60p's and sold out ~72p (sold VOD and put the money into other stocks which have grown much better since - plus used some proceeds for other uses too).

So how deep in the red are you on CPI here?

BTW, I straight up have not booked a single loss yet since I began investing in Dec 2022. Dodged a bullet here too with CPI, sure its had periods of sharp rise and sharp fall for those trading but for investing it's a sucker stock IMV.

Personally, I dont think the savings will exceed and I think many of the 'savings' so far were simply inevitable because the business is shrinking. Smaller businesses cut iteratively as they decline i.e. correlation does not necessarily equals causation.

Okay, I accept that I didnt get the SP prediction correct here. However, the results were basically what I had expected! Shrinking revenues, less income due to Capita One sale last yr, higher spending on costs and struggling profits (fundamentally because the 6-8% ambition for margins has been set far too high considering fierce competition).

Sure, public sector did slightly better than I'd anticipated but... it was not stellar performance, and it was reliant on just a couple of large contracts being bagged -so it leaves the door wide open on if this can continue to be repeated going forwards (I don't think it can be reliably repeated).

The story here is eternal jam tomorrow, and meanwhile the business keeps getting smaller, exacerbated by elevated levels of inflation. No wonder LTH's are getting itchy trigger fingers when it comes to considering selling out because IMO pretty much any other equity out there should perform better than CPI.

BoE rate cut tomorrow, should benefit many equities aside from CPI of course because the interest rate on that credit has already been extended and was setup ~9% from memory of the CPI financials.

MarcusExile - It's most interesting how some who lack sound evidence and any logical or sensible point can sadly descend into threatening violence. Do you do the same when your wife or girlfriend disagrees with you? Does behaving like that make you feel strong and manly?

Look the thing I respect is people who have decent evidence and sound theory for discussion. I forecast the results would be poor and that's precisely what they were today.

Just as a growing business should see costs rising... because getting larger means greater costs, although also greater revenues too.

What a load of nonsense. I quoted the figures precisely as they are listed in the results.

If I had been talking about adjusted results then I would have said so but I was not, and I was referring to the reported results! So I 100% stand by what I posted.
