What if US Economy is actually delivering real tangible growth here? i.e. completely eliminating widely held/assumed beliefs for rate cuts (their only needed if the economy needs support or if inflation undershoots). After all, USA is now the worlds biggest oil producer, and exporter. Plus it's cut it's unemployment rate, gradually the gap between rich and poor is reducing too, which gives better support for domestic demand! -- Okay, so yes inflation will no doubt remain elevated, from tailwind/legacy of QE... However, what if Fed rates only end up only needing holds? Or a small and maybe temp cut? Has anyone considered the USA economy might now be so strong, that within the next 2-5yrs or sooner, Fed rates simply return to their global norms of 5-8%?
