However, I do not think Hexam is fully taking into account the dramatic changes going on in the outsourcing arena and the full breadth/depth of deep rooted problems which CPI has - yes, there's now a good helmsman but... even a good captain can still discover their unsinkable vessel is in fact rather sinkable.

Trisor - you're reading far too deeply into something I just quickly typed in reply to Hexam but... Culley01 + Hexam - the latest set of results gave a nod to revenues falling further in H2 next results and what's more is I think the market will be considerably tougher than CPI have envisaged. I guess we shall see in time whom is correct...

JamesOxford - snobbery at it's finest there with you pontificating on required qualifications.

I've no stock or accounting qualifications but I've been analysing stocks, financials, macros for years before taking the plunge into investing. Sure, I won't get it right all the time and I will make errors.

However, the results from my trading since Dec 2022 speak for themselves, no losses yet and a heap of fantastic calls:

Trisor- to address your other point about pursuing profitable sales... the major issue is CPI is not being successful enough at securing large enough volumes of profitable sales. It's all well and good having a spund strategy but the market demand landing at CPI's doors is not enough to support CPI growing... all CPI can do is minimise the losses IMO as it's clear CPI is not competitive enough.

Trisor, the latest revenues fell short of £2.5bn, they were a little below the figure you're quoting and... the results even explained why the next revenue figures will be even lower. So please do check your facts properly.

Undercarriage - Your call for censorship on the forums is madness because I've shared my evidence of why I think it's not only possible but it's even likely that CPI runs into serious trouble ahead... if I had been spouting my opinions without giving any evidence, and by being abusive, then maybe there could be a case for deletion of posts.

However, I've been respectful at all times here. Please take the time to examine CPI's financials properly as they're absolutely diabolical!

Hexam - that's interesting you're net positive about CPI right now because I do not agree that CPI has got themselves into a good position.

I think AH is going to need far more cash in the next 0-9months ahead than anyone currently anticipates and I think by the time this demand dip comes to an end CPI will be an even smaller minnow. I think CPI could end up booking just £1.5bn annual revenues by 2027 and still not delivering real profits either. It's going to become ripe for a takeover bid at some point in the next 2yrs. Worse case scenario which I don't think can be ruled out is a collapse on the basis of lack of demand in the sector it operates, due to other businesses outcompeting CPI by a fair margin

On here for CPI what I've witnessed is many LTH failing to convey any evidence or facts to back up their claims at all. I've just had abuse levelled at me for having done my due diligence on CPI before throwing my money behind CPI on an emotive whim...

So when you say it's about facts it does very much depend on whether evidence put forwards stands upto scrutiny, or not. Some LTH's believe they're invested in a sound business when occasionally the short holders have called it correctly, and the business is in fact a black hole 🕳 devoid of any value or profits.

In my view the posts Hexam has made have been very well researched and their successful trading probably comes from seeing both value and vulnerability from the availabile evidence out there on businesses.

Some context:

Aim is trolling here on BT because ages back when I was considering where to put my investment monies (between CPI + BT) I did my due diligence and I opted for BT as I believed BT would be setup for stellar performance...

I shared my evidence on why I found CPI to be a burning 🔥 heap of turds and was met with a barrage of abuse on the CPI thread... my broad forecast that CPI was going to be doing fairly terribly has proven correct and Aim doesn't like this because they're invested in CPI.

Meanwhile BT is doing fantastically and I'm very glad it's the business I chose to put my hard earned cash into! Roll on the divi next week! 💰

3.2% ish is just the reported shorts. Important to remember that any single short holder with less than 0.5% position will not display at all.

Good to see you again Hexam.I first came across Hexham on the TUI board where they posted a lot of really insightful information, they made some sound calls back then.

Hexam if you have been going short here on CPI then that's most interesting indeed!

As I've said before I don't have enough trading experience to take such risks so I only open long positions on stocks I've heavily researched. TUI was one I invested heavily in and took a lot of profit from backing, then TUI went and messed about with delisting nonsense just after I had sold my entire position, so I opted against buying back in and since I sold on Jan 2nd 2024 I think it's only briefly blipped above the price I sold out for (also now it's on German DAX there's extra currency conversion costs from trading TUI stock).

Anyways my opinion on Hexam is they know a LOT more then I and have far far deeper pockets too. If Hexam has a short on CPI it's likely (never a certainty of course) they'll do rather well from such a trade!

Good thing too... absolutely stupid concept as many businesses on London Stock Exchange trade all over the globe and so labelling it a British Isa is completely meaningless

Broomtree - well Bailey at the BoE is holding rates here in UK causing devastation for the property market + rising unemployment as some businesses begin to buckle under the strain, so there's time yet to run because at somepoint in the not too distant future things are going to get worse for UK PLC and BoE is going to have to implement a sharp rates reduction, which will weaken £

As for CPI, the bad results are going to keep on landing - it's possible revenues dip below the £2bn as CPI is simply not generating enough sales volumes (because it lacks competitiveness) - The question is how will AH respond to the need for more cash to keep the wheels turning because I assure you that's what he's going to need in order to avoid more frantic selling off of CPI - a number of options are available to him but which will he choose?

Swazers - you state rightly 'All that matters are results' - I find this interesting because it's an accurate summary of the fundamental problem with CPI:

CPI's results have been shockingly bad - only propped up by the sale of it's own vital organs.

GoCPI - I made plenty today on my BT holdings thank you muchly - Nice conspiracy theory but the reality is far more straightforward than your bizzare/Trumpian theories of paid posters. You've not used any proper evidence about CPI's financials and yet you expect the SP to rocket...

I ask a simple question: Can you share your evidence as to why CPI is headed for the imminent upward shift for the SP? Can you explain why you believe its destined to rocket up to £1?
