However, with inflation still running hot thanks to embedded extra brexit trade costs pushing prices permanently higher then even with the divi LTH's will be poorer each passing year which goes by versus just selling up and putting the cash into a hugh interest savings account.

I sold off most of mine back in Nov, as I saw the overconfidence + overspeculation in UK stocks building up far too high. So I've a nice pot of cash to go on buying sprees when stocks dip & hit more sensible valuations again👍 - not sure which ones I'll buy into yet but it was definitely possible to see this coming as Labour are really struggling to stabilise the dreadful economic inheritance they've been handed down.

Scotty277 - Look by all means throw a major tantrum/strop over words I've used to share my opinion/view on the grave risks/threat/peril which I think some LTH's are in (deeply here too for some) but... ultimately I've called this correctly (aside from the precise timing).

I don't control the SP, and I'm not to blame/am not responsible for any fallout/losses experienced by LTH's here.

I've watched on as this stock has been consistently overrated by rampers, and some are about to get a brutally harsh economics lesson IMO.

That's kinda the problem with much of this whole country right now though, isn't it?! For too long belligerent nutters have cranked up the nations debts, whilst overseeing a shrinking economy in real terms... the costs of those decisions are now coming to a critical head and some won't emerge from this solvent.

I was tempted to have my first tryout of shorting on this tbf... but I lack any experience with short trading and I'm not in a fiscal position to take that...

At least I can recognise when to stop though - rather than telling daughter her money is in one place when in fact it's being gambled on an overpriced stock.
