Clearly some posters on here (i.e those not quoting from legit data sources, on CPI fiscal performance, who mostly just post unevidenced speculation -upwards or downwards btw-) seem to add little by way of quality discussion, and instead when things don't go their way they just wish to threaten, shout or falsely cry libel..

Except CPI now say (in their Dec TU) it's set to be a high single digit % reduction... Pondering what impact that news might have when it lands in the Early March FY results? 🤷

Fellwanderer - In fairness that's a decent call there... they're seeing value it seems.

JO - I have no agenda because I'm not invested or shorting CPI. I have an interest in observing what happens to CPI from a research/educational perspective but...as I've repeatedly shared I have no financial agenda. Perhaps it's defamatory to accuse me of having an agenda? When I do not have one.

The £ is set to get a pounding... Though I best be careful what I say incase BoE sue me for defamation against the £ 🤷

Wednesday - My wife makes her own investment decisions when it comes to the final buying/selling. Yes, I offered her my take/view at the time (which was positive back then actually). Yes, she was invested a long time ago for about 4 weeks with a rather small sum but... that's the sum total interaction ever had with CPI.

Look the real proof of the facts here for CPI will land in early March when the results hit the RNS feed - None of us truly know just what they hold but the signals from the TU suggest there is pain on the way.

Eviking - just found the line you lifted from the article.... that's interesting and yes I get that it can generate revenue but still contribute to greater costs than the revenue it generated... be interesting if there were any lines about the scale of the net losses because then those will drop off once it's sold off.

Wednesday - unmasking me would only result in proof I'm an everyday PI who is uninvested. Everything would match up with what I have said because at no point in time have I lied about my motivation. I'm just mightily glad I never invested here.

For record: In debating content of past FY, HY and TU's I've not made any defamatory statements. Yes, I've called into question CPI's assumptions, and the strategy they've communicated because I can't see evidence (in their results) that it's working but at no point have I said anything which is not backed up by evidence from CPI's results or which is false or misleading either. All times I've repeatedly said in threads that my comments are my opinions, and I've invited others to engage with sensible and evidence based debate.

Trisor... your comment "Your motive remains unclear" is a simple lie - I've been 100% clear in explaining that I almost invested into this company many months ago and my gripe is that if I'd believed rampers then I might well have lost a significant sum of money because when doing my due diligence I believe in my opinion there are huge fiscal holes in CPI. All the evidence from the fiscal statements suggest CPI is struggling and to say I think things are possibly going to be worse at the next results... well that's entirely my opinion and is absolutely not defamatory at all.

The fact you do not believe my explanation is 100% your problem.

Trisor - You're aware of this... However, each time I've mentioned the likelihood that CPI has spent a large proportion of the Capital One proceeds I've caveated that with the proof from CPI's own TU that there's 2x £50m extra cash outflowing for spend on their cost cutting endevours which CPI themselves have conveyed. I've repeatedly pointed this out to you... there's also the issue of significantly falling revenues... meaning grave potential for a fiscal shortfall in FCF which will likely need to be plugged by any cash incoming i.e. the biggest amount incoming is from the Capita One sale... So it doesn't take a genius to question if the proceeds might be majority spent by the combinations of this very significant costs for CPI.

However, me questioning/hypothesising and saying my opinion is 100% not equal to making defamatory statements.

Eviking - Interesting you're highlighting that it's a loss making part of the CPI portfolio but.... at the same time in the very same post you appear (presumably) to be saying it generated "2023 revenue £5.8m" i.e. not loss making?!

Utter nonsense - All times I've quoted CPI financial TU and HY 2024 Results each time. I've asked legitimate questions and I've called into question their strategy which has focused on lower sales and higher margins because it doesn't appear to be working - the evidence I've always referred to is their own financial results and I most certainly have never said anything deformatory.

Look just because you don't like that I called out their results as being really bad that does not make what I've said deformatory.
