I am on tenterhooks about todays vote as they need to reach a quorum of voters for approval and this can sometimes be a problem for Spacs as retail investors sometimes don't vote their shares

There was an option award to Trevor Nicholls non exec Chairman in 2019 for about 200 000 at 17.5p which is the price the link from Poirot shows.

He is still on the board just not non exec Chairman

It is just 1 person as the RNS states. Given the price stated on the link from Poirot it looks like it was a non exec director who was granted options at 17.25p in 2019 and is no longer with the company

Vested means when the options are available to be exercised as in not before those dates. It's not when the option is exercised

The options deal Al got at least gives a clue as to what level of employee would have this many options to take up even if it wasn't him.

Not sure what the Aim rules are on director option take up. If it was Al just cos he has taken the option doesn't mean he has done so to sell them.

They did not have to buy them at 10p. That is the nominal price of the shares. They would have bought them at the market value
