When I have trouble getting quotes for any sustained period of time say over half an hour I send a complaint.
The FCA expects platforms to provide a liquid market as a condition of being able to sell shares. So if volume is say 2m and you can't get quotes for 20k buy or sell then there's an issue.
Often their systems are playing up as well
So try a few quotes and if you don't get them stick a complaint in.
The FCA are monitoring this situation all the more so given the systems breakdown on Pfizer day last year.
It's why they are having hearings in the US about the Robinhood and GME shenanigans. Brokers and platforms ****ing around with retail investors
