Viking, it’s crown green bowling up in this area of the North, although I have tried my hand on the flat green.
This was a club competition today, with a nice cup to win.
My bowling isn’t up to my usual standard since Covid restricted our playing, but it’s such a sociable pastime that I would hate to give it up. Play in 4 teams, two during the afternoon and two in the evening.
That comp in Bournemouth, must have attracted some top names, with quality bowling I should imagine. You didn’t say how you got on, but it sounds a great experience.

Yes fingers crossed for a good week ahead. As I said, I wish I could have made it to London to meet Shaun and some fellow investors.

I believe some say Hillside is a better course than Birkdale.

I lost in the first round 21-18, then had to wait a few hours to lose in the plate.

The only consolation was that I won a bottle of Malbec in the raffle.

However, even better, my daughter, son in law and grandson were at the air show, #o I was able to watch the Red Arrows at the end.

I certainly didn’t take unbridgeable in any way, so please discuss and disagree as much as you like lol. As I say I hope you are 100% correct and that we get a brilliant rns from Newcrest tonight. That would be something to celebrate.
I also should apologise as I sometimes play devils advocate so that we don’t see everything with rose tinted glasses. Even if we want to. ;0)

Hi Ben. I always like reading your posts because they are positive, but you back them up with your reasoning for them.
Like all holders here, I want GGP to be successful as that means we are rewarded too. I just get a little concerned though when suddenly everyone thinks nothing can do no wrong and fail to weigh up all the pros and cons.
I would have loved to have gone to London on Thursday to meet Shaun, but suitable train times from the North West make it difficult and I cannot make a two or three day break due to other commitments.
I am hoping that Shaun has completed on the 5% and has also secured funding for our part of the mine. With luck, our regular posters will keep us updated. ( thanks in advance).

In some ways it doesn’t really matter what we get for the 5%. As Aurora said, it is the 25% that matters and Callum and Shauns interviews this week seemed 5o be trying to point out to the market.

If you think it’s 20 million ounces on drilling to date, then I can only assume you think Newcrest will release that figure in two weeks time.

I think Shaun has said previously that the finance offers have been on his desk for some time. It appears to me that he has been waiting for a conclusion to the 5% negotiations before deciding how much GGP need.

We are all guessing as to why he is back in London so soon after his last visit, but we are all hoping it is about the finance, which to me means the 5% is concluded or about to be.

Benrumpson made a comment about two interviews from Callum and Shaun last week, which are excellent points and probably correct, but as a cautious investor and apologies for questioning everything, but those two interviews could also be saying, listen, forget about what we got for the 5%, this is what Havieron's future is about and also what great prospects we hold in GGP. Concentrate on those aspects and value us accordingly.

First modern, I have absolutely no idea. I wouldn’t like to put a figure on it, because others have tried and maybe expectations have been raised.

We should celebrate when the 5% deal is done, no matter what the figure, because we can then move on to developing the mine and as a result building the company called Greatland Gold.

This is the problem here. No width to their thinking. Everything has to be perfect or it’s wrong. Same on the new board. People cannot discuss other possibilities, without thinking there is an ulterior motive.

James, like many here, I think the 5% deal is close, so I believe Shaun is coming to London to sign the finance package for our share of costs to mine Havieron.

What I don’t want is people getting overexcited about the value of that 5% and possibly being disappointed if it comes in at the lower end. As I say I hope I am completely wrong, but we shouldn’t be too complacent.

Shaun has shown he is for the shareholders, so if it is low, he may want to explain what happened in the process, especially if he is in London to sign the finance papers.

It will be very nice if we get a high cash figure for the 5% and we have to borrow less in finance. I will keep my fingers crossed until we get the Rns.

I want to put a contrarian view on Shaun’s visit, but hope I am completely wrong.

Could he be coming to explain to PI’s , why the 5% is lower than expectations?

As I say, I hope I am wrong but want to dampen down over exuberance until we get official confirmation.

Whatever the figures, I do agree that finance for the mine, could be arranged this week.
