We will get the latest drilling results published on Thursday, (by Shaun), so I would imagine that they have been scrutinised by the Havieron J/v team by now.

Could there be something in these results, which has got the sp moving up?

Shaun did a rights issue some time ago and brought our cash up to £16 million or so.

The wage bill must be eating in to that but I would have thought that we had enough cash to start our drilling campaign by now.

However no drilling plans have been released.

My first thought is he was conserving cash whilst the 5% is being negotiated, but your thoughts may have some credit and the question is, why spend money on something which could be J/V’d soon?

As I remember it, the Juri j/v was part of a package which allowed us access to the 50 million dollar loan as well as tweaking the original Havieron j/v terms.
I am not criticising anyone for negotiating these deals. I am just stating what I think are the facts.
We were outmanoeuvred by NCM, when they cleverly chose a tiny fragment of Havieron, to concentrate on and do the pre feasibility study to allow them to claim the 5% option.
Having said that, by concentrating on that area, we will be mining many years ahead of normal which will bring in much needed cash to grow our company.

Does anyone think we will be told via rns, should negotiations fail, that we have gone to arbitration?
I’m not sure we will as Shaun has always tried to maintain the moral high ground.
We could be into the arbitration period now, hence the downward pressure on the sp we simplify don’t know. As others have already said, we need to believe that Shaun is doing his very best for the shareholders and we need to sit tight.

Dip, reference step 5, I wouldn’t put it past NCM to try to re-negotiate the arbiters decision if it goes in GGP’s favour.
Shaun Day doesn’t want to sell the 5% if he can help it, but we do have a loan of 50 million dollars from NCM to pay back. Whether NCM try to force repayment, who knows?

MFU, we could have a distressed seller or it could be another short. We can only guess. If it is a short then I would assume it will show up on Ortex is it?

Don’t forget Pacific Trends will get 145 million shares when the 5% is negotiated. I am sure the shorters know this and may be able to buy all their shorts back then.

If Pacific Trends ( or whoever they are called now), gets their 145 million shares, it would be a handy amount of shares for Newcrest to acquire to add to the stock they are probably collecting now.
