More on the wallstreetbets saga. The 2% drop on the Dow yesterday was driven by PI's banding together and forcing more shorts to close. Isn't amazing how people who use the markets as a casino and rip off PI's don't like it when PI's do the same. What a brilliant spotlight the last few days has been on how this system is rigged for us to lose and how values are driven down and PI's gaslit on an epic scale. The share falls of the last few days are a side effect.

PI's have more power than they realise and the markets have had a taste of it. There could be quite the revolution coming if the powers that be don't find a way to stamp it out.

I remember the crash after the FCA case was lodged. For a market that is supposedly part of one of the world's leading financial centres, and that has a specific ambition to support growth businesses, it is remarkable how both pedantic and petty it is, and how terrible it is at recognising growth.

They gave the game away after the FCA case. It showed that they read the boards and have the ridiculous egos we all know they do.

This week in the Bushveld...

- 500mw of new storage procurement planned for September

- Covid cases in SA have now fallen c75% from the recent peak.

- Vanadium prices in the US and EU have risen to close the gap on Chinese prices

- Vanitec are predicting a 5000mtv supply deficit for this year

- VRFB procurement is now ahead of Roskills conservative analysis.

- The SP is down 23 % from recent highs.

Very, look at the lengths the MM's have had to go to to force this move back. People were very happy to buy at 23.8 with good reason.

Bassguy, ask yourself why Largo and AVL can say so much and why BMN can't - at a a time when the V/VRFB industry is on a PR assault. Would you rather be invested in companies that have very little commercially snesitive info or one that has loads and can't say much.

I get you are frustrated because so far this hasn't been particularly profitable for you, but just try and see the wood for the trees.

Bassguy, the 25p target was clearly a target for "others" . They are back looking for 19p - ie this move. The more important point for people selling, is they are now playing into both the traders and MM's hands.

It has been a shameless move down coerced all the way by the MM's as Alfa has kindly explained, but its the people who lose their minds and sell at these prices when they could have sold higher every day for the last week or so, that really need to ask if they have the constitution for this. Selling now at 19.5 is pretty tragic unless its out of absolute need.

People should try and keep their heads more. Look at all the awesome VRFB news and V prices and look past this move to what comes beyond it.

It's been a max of 20k shs to sell for about an hour @20p, now 15k max at 19.9. This is really a very poor effort at creating a market if the MM's are hoping to get sells and close a short position.

Surely that is the MMs taking a position and gambling on that news arriving. That seems like the opposite of what MM's do. The short selling and managing their position I get, but that seems a rather risky strategy with Eskom on the horizon.

I'd like to know why Eatstocks posts like that guy who you don't want to make eye contact with in a bar.
