RE: Fair SP holder value ?13 Feb 2021 12:39
I find this kind of analysis is symptomatic of being annoyed with short term share price (understandable - the last 12 months has been tough if you held all your shares and supported the company) rather than being based on any kind of rational assesment of what the company is actually set to now achieve. We should be nearing 6000mtv per year in 2022 with VRFB starting to infiltrate the domestic market this year. We are seeing vanadium prices starting a 3rd wave of rises (see Friday posts) and they are underpinned by a deficit and a voracious Chinese appetite running ex-China stockpiles down. V price rises alone should deliver record highs if they continue as expected.
Personally I believe the business is now on the cusp of realising its vertically integrated model and sharing the extent and nature of the partnerships being built and role of assets like Enerox. The market is crying out for this picture to be painted vividly in neon colours. If we are also honest as shareholders we have not seen any upward value from any of the developments (IES,Enerox, Mokopane, Vanchem, production increasing etc) and disproportionate levels of return for the support given, particularly for those of you who have arrived since low single figure SP's. Conversely however it has now created a situation where we now have real fuel to power SP moves in a commodity supercycle when combined with new upward price moves and project wins. It is absolutely on the company to not be complacent and to deliver the right Comms to make this opportunity as effective as it can be for holders in a sentiment driven market that doesn't care for the understated and is becoming more and more bullish and more and more noisy.
Three other things which would obviously help shareholders would be firstly (and repetitively) getting off AIM, secondly, bringing new II's that actually genuinely support the vision like we do. (II's who buy shares without lending us money or selling assets to us who would start to bring some renewed energy, balance, resilience and resolve to the share register.) The third would be investors here actually showing some conviction for their investment and helping to build sentiment. Everyone has a part to play in that. It's not about ramping blindly, it's about helping promote the real intent of the company, sharing research and supporting the progress being made to achieve those goals, realising that new investors in the main read forums whilst they research and make decisions based on what they read.
One thing for sure, the company is fortunate to have a base of such committed investors. They need to now deliver the returns that support warrants. It's time to see some of those entering in the last 2-3 years making some money.
