Why don’t you do some research on Middle Eastern nations? The oil-rich ones are heavily investing in solar, wind and battery storage. They know oil is on its way out.

I’d imagine they are also looking at SMR - though “nuclear” is a sensitive topic in that region, especially with TACO bell-end hovering/havering over MOB deployment.

As to the number of SMRs order, why would you put in an order for many until you have confidence that they will be delivered working and when that is likely… I mean, RR have the next few years to complete the design, build and test the first one, demonstrate it does what it says on the tin and is on time and on budget (or thereabouts).

We all know governments’ never make the right decision - except choosing RR for SMR. But who would dare congratulate them on that decision?

For my next prediction I need see some entrails 👀
