So we are all in favour of a competitive tendering process so that the UK taxpayer gets value for money?

I’m guessing Assore have an opportunity to get an even better bargain... Though they may now wait to see who wins the election and, if the NPP are majority, what new deal they want (and when…) and then determine the value to them and therefore their bid.

I think I’ll stop looking at the sp for a few months as it’s not going anywhere (least of all upwards) until the new year/new parliament. And even then, I’m not sure what will happen in first session.

Yes of course there is huge potential upside - that’s why we are all here. And as seen just before parliament last sat (before the chaos).

Depending on who is in majority *now* and after the election will decide when rat happens - and under what deal.

There are 18 parliamentary days between 7th November and 6th December.

But they won’t be Rat’ing on the 7th - first day back and they’ll be ‘discussing’ who’s in charge. That’ll go on for a couple of days at least. Maybe there will be order. Maybe there will be quorum…

Can’t see it this year. No rational explanation - just from how I’ve seen the parliament operate and the situation of MPs changing party.

(And I am a shareholder, been here a wee while - indefinitely would like to see it north of at least 25p even 33p at this point; but I’m not expecting anything until next year. I’d say end of Feb/March if that. (Session is usually Jan-March.) If the (previous) minority wins the election then how long will they take to renegotiate a “better” deal is the next question.

Anyone also advise when The Rapture is?

I'd imagine there will be even more posturing in parliament; although they might do the minimum in the remainder of the session to pass whatever can be agreed between the two parties to keep their country running. This assumes they'll all turn up and there is quorum.

Can’t help but think Rat is way down the list for the MPs. It’s probably a useful campaign topic for NDC “vote for us to get the best deal for Ghana”, etc. and “this is the best deal” from the NPP. So with a glass half full: nothing will happen until 2025, which probably means Q2 2025.

Any earlier and my glass will overfloweth.

Basically they may take 3 times as long and take 3 times the budget to build. But who knows, maybe that's about to change.

Anyway, we await news on SMR for the UK.

I guess some folks need a reality-check - or at least a sense of perspective. But if they think the world is about to (start to) end in about one hour’s time then I can see they may be somewhat vexed.
