'Expected' being the key word. No commitment that it will be available at the end of last month.

'then expected'. Again just an expectation. But note the 'then' - doesn't say when they will provide it.

so they will then start the "DFS finalisation program of work" - one might imagine they will call a meeting soon to discuss what they plan to do in the program of work and then they can start working on the DFS 'finalisation'.

I’m guessing the politicians will now be focussed on Speaker v Judiciary.

They can make hay of all other issues - each blaming the other for dysfunction of parliament - so I’d think rat. is way down the list.

Unless there is a quick resolution regarding “cross carpeting” MPs (seems unlikely) then it’s minimal parliamentary business and it will be the election which *may* decide where things go next for ALL.

For ALL there surely needs to be a clear majority of one side or the other to know speculate what happens next year.

If they walk out presumably they won’t come back until agreement is reached… if it can’t be reached then I’d imagine this parliament sitting will be suspended - and some might say they wait for the election to sort it out…

Lilpeep, I admire your optimism but as time to the election shortens I think likelihood of a rat before it (7th Dec) starts to drop. Of course there are several weeks to go - but it’s kinda looking chaotic over there.

Price is nearly back to what it was before the “return of parliament” speculation - market ain’t buying it!

Any tax evasion is corrupt.

You don’t pay CGT because of your situation, good for you. Suggesting others evade tax due is pretty suss. That’s all I was pointing out.

Whether the looney-left or right-whingers, why suggest tax-evasion? Can’t complain of sleazy politicians if one practices the same, surely? And don’t bleat that it’s not the same scale. Or pretend that you’ll be spending the tax-saved on some worthy cause for the poor.

I’d say the US election is in the balance - it’s all about the swing states again. Trump appeals to emotions and Harris to rationality. But in this age of social media emotions are amplified.

Trump win: “volatility” in markets - and Israel more likely to bomb Iraq, Putin further emboldened; Xi will bide his time re: Taiwan.

Harris win: MAGA morons stirred up but overall stability. Trump through the courts and Republicans will have to work out who’s replacing him.

Meanwhile the SMR research, design and initial deployments will continue, with data centres driving the need.

LilPeep, and if the rat doesn’t happen, shareholders will know by an immediate sharp correction too.
