Glaxo could get products to market about 18 months faster than others. This effectively adds 18 months of peak sales before patent expiry but in Avactas case cash runway also important.

At the very least Takeda are a stalking horse for next compound. If there is anyone sniffing around the first compound a sweeter deal could be both products together with higher margins than 5-10%. This would ease the pressure off cash and utilising existing sales and marketing possibly comarketinv would speed up market penetration and awareness for Avacta to launch their own products later

At a stretch an increase in dose can be interpreted as the drug doesn't cause elevated levels of systemic dox. If that's what is meant by working then yes.

Interpreting the results that none of us has seen beyond this is really reaffirmation of our belief in the hypothesis before patients were dosed. Hopefully the MTD is where the FAP in the tumour remains fully saturated long enough to kill tumour and I'm guessing that the trial continues because this remains in sight - otherwise unethical time continue. Happy to chill
