AZ were the partner for IFN in COPD. I think there is a milestone payment due if the drug is licensed. Is this arrangement onlybrelevent to COPD or could it be any indication? It is worth a little short of the MKT cap

In my opinion Mr ST has pointed out the COPD stuff for Syn. The drug was not thought cost effective in asthma but COPD exacerbations particularly pneumonia are an issue. One thing that does concern me is IFN B given systemically might be cheaper and work albeit with more side effects.

I dont know why nasal is still preferred. My point is if the lack of accuracy with PCR is due to sampling rather than the test then will they not just switch sampling technique or get the best of both worlds and do both.

There is more inherent risk with all these than "standard" stocks. There are more boring covid stocks who tend towards less all or nothing - AZ, GSK, CSL. Defensive.

£10 is MKT cap of £2B - I guess the question comes down to can they make £1.7B in net profit. Lots of talk of tests costing $2 but when I look I cannot find any examples.

Assuming therefore £2 contribution per test looking at 850k tests sold. Given 4M people in States have been diagnosed then those numbers don't seem unrealistic - Sir All said healthy marginsvand 100ks of tests
