I'm taking my own advice now - I am just reading the regulatory stuff (struggling to stay awake - there is a reason why it attracts certain types ;-) ).

I'm topping up either TILS or avacta today. If there is info on FDA timeline I need to.see it before jumping - easy call at that point.

Share price reflects all the potential that we keep hearing about. Lovely to hear such shared enthusiasm.

Also reflects the uncertainties - bringing a cancer drug to market is not a tick box exercise. Huge sums required and most fail

The LFD is in development - we have had lots of conjecture about time lines but without an update we only know we are somewhere forward of the last one but exactly where or why we don't know. Again the SP reflects this - up from 15p to £1.50.

No problem with speculative buying but we are all taking a risk. Rewards could be huge but not guaranteed. If you think they are or are basing your investment on wishful thinking I wish you luck but be careful and actual try valuing a bit of critisismn - if you are right your analysis can stand the process or you can live with the fact that you are taking a risk

I agree it could be a $1B company. I'm also conscious that biotech is inherently risky - current valuation should reflect that - its not a magic box where I buy a share and come back in three years to reap son inevitable reward. I know we all understand that but seems anyone drifting in that direction is a deramper. Makes it difficult to sanity check my own thoughts

Current valuation $200M. IPO raises $50M. Company worth $250M but with 25% more shares.

Or

Current valuation $500M. IPO raises ¢50M. Company worth $550M but only 10% more shares.

It looks obvious but if both scenarios go to $1B id rather scenario 2 even though the final MKT cap is the same. Setting a low valuation on STEM might keep City happy - how many IPOs under valued but shafts current share holders

Its an IPO so placing will happen

They need working capital - Italian sales team, regulatory, more R&D, finance dept.

Put those two together - new money comes in, new shares go out. We get diluted. QED double underline ;-)
