anyway , the recent director buys and news individual investors jumping in with £50k was not just a wild punt is my guess. they will have a clear idea of what is on the near term horizon .

yes, i’ve think everyone is expecting the uk govt to support wl in the way they have cornish lithium. it’s a critical mineral and the world needs and values them so highly everyone is scrambling about trying to get their hands on whatever they can. imho the war in ukraine would have ended years ago were it not for the us and eu having beady eyes on ukraine’s gigantic mineral resources. estimated value of £13trln in the ground - only a sizeable chunk of that is now in russian hands thanks to biden, trump and eu leaders going in half **** in supporting ukraine’s war efforts.

weardale lithium is tiny but hugely important as one of only two home grown sources for lithium and therefore highly prized. also shows intent to drive the renewable energy age that is already well upon us. uk govt is horribly slow in actually putting money where its mouth is . they all talk of supporting uk ventures but then delay after delay in getting the money to where it’s needed to move projects forward. support in teeside would rejuvenate the whole area and provide much needed stimulus on all sorts of levels. pull your finger out politicians and get weardale up and at it asap!

Bid not budged. That suggests to me we are going to see a large delayed sell or two later today and that isn’t highly likely to be Lanstead selling out. They may fear a FOMO Friday and wish to be out before Monday and the possibility of an announcement which sees the sp soar and increase what they owe for the remaining days of November whilst they still have shares. One way or the other this is going to do nicely over this next couple weeks - deal or no deal.

I think the selling pressure atm is all coming from Lanstead. It’s a golden opportunity right now for buyers. This is going to be the easiest 100% rise in any stock this side of xmas

Lanstead being out in November is also another huge road block removed to the sp rising back to 18p + even without news of a deal imho. Now is the time for me to go all in with my AIM pot. GDR also recovering well recently having nearly been put out of business by its BODs. 100% rise there too imho in the next two or three months.

Popeye, I’ve never been out. I only sold some of holding. Not really made any profit from taking some out and now putting it back in so probably shouldn’t have bothered. I’ve not wavered from my belief there will be a deal, nor that the sp could see 30p by year end. I have concerns about Avion but not enough to persuade me to exit the stock altogether. Far from it.

Most of the vote Stocksaint was DN on his own. The number of votes was astonishingly low considering the company was at a pivotal moment. If he votes yes for any new planning arranged at a higher price than .2p and with far fewer shares being issued then I think he’d easily carry a yes vote through. The alternative at this point in time really would spell the end so other than peeved Directors I cdnt see anyone voting against it. Hopefully a placing would be at .5p and pis would be invited to take all they want. I reckon they’d raise £1m alone from existing pis. That would see us through to Spring. No, sorry derampers, but the future is now looking much brighter here and I see a full blown recovery for GDR over the next 12 months. Awesome

That was such a despicable statement from the BOD. Effectively saying ‘look at what you’ve made us do…’ ie put the company into administration. Only they would lose their jobs and salaries if that happens. DN clearly has a plan and feels he still has time to build an even larger stake in GDR. At some point the funding issue will be sorted and then some security for share holders. It’s feasible the solution may end up simply being a placing but hopefully for a much smaller sum and at a much higher price AND one that existing share holders can be far more involved in rather than the derisory amount Gino and Russ decided were deserved a month ago. Charlatans. I’m so enjoying watching this revival. Long may it continue.

If trump gets China on board with seeing an end to the war then it’s not going to be long before Putin comes to the table for peace. Can’t stand Trump but if he pulls this off I’ll doff my cap gladly.

Putin currently making a last minute land grab knowing Zelenskyy really can’t continue losing so much territory. How many trillions of natural resources has he already lost - not to mention Ukrainian lives - by refusing to cede land? If he’d bought Trump’s deal back in early 2025 then I think this could all have been over much sooner. Once they announce a summit involving the big fellas EUA will have yet another surge back to 6p. Gino and co knew perfectly well there was good news in the off'ing and that's why they attempted to get another crippling placing away and were trying to persuade share holders it was the best option. Well, it wasn't and they were wrong and, with the potential market for GDR's tests, there IS plenty of interest.. If they can sort the short term funding out then who knows what will happen. I am rewinding my thoughts to a time when I thought a potential buyer would be circling and if this continues then an offer could drop out of nowhere. Perhaps once he has secured POKROVSK Putin will get to the negotiating table again before the new sanctions it and especially seeing as Zelensky has admitted/realised he has to consider current battle lines as the starting point for talks and conceding territory. If that's the case then the sooner the killing can be brought to a stop and putin begins talks with Trump and Z. Can't happen soon enough.

Agreed. The mcap is so low that it will rise significantly even if there is a whiff of decent news. Frustrating to have to wait for quite so long though. The fact the Directors bought in recently is the only positive I guess buut boy they sure are keen to hide anything positive from the market atm
