I’m worried Gino and Russ will be trying to strike a deal with a PE firm or some the major creditors to buy the company in a distressed sale in which they keep their jobs in return for making sure the company goes into administration. I would put nothing past them. DN has to work quickly to position himself such that he can prevent that - you don’t need a vote to be put into administration! Sorry but GDR isn’t out of the woods yet. Gino and Russ need to be ousted in order for any share holder to consider their investments safe or at least safer, once in the hands of Directors who are aligned with ordinary share holder interests. Suspect today might be another good day if DN continues to buy at the level he has this last week but who knows really wtf is going on behind the doors of the GDR Board meetings

The only thing I am interested in is a ‘chunky’ deal. I like many of you will benefit hugely, even having sold some shares.

Evidence to suggest it will happen is Tim stating it wry firmly in interviews - which are not the same as RNSs. All I’m saying is the jury is still out - he has until Christmas - but I don’t think the recent appointment hints at a full buyout. And in which case, whilst Tim is trying to fluff up investors for his other business interests We’re all stumbling in the dark over this

The other reasons I’m not wowed by this appointment unlike some, is that this indicates there isn’t a conversation going on that contemplates an outright buyout of IMM, and also that Incanthera (always) needs funding and my feeling is that if IMM gets a deal then Tim will quickly find a way to siphon off some of the funds in the direction of Inc. I was slightly alarmed by that very recent investor presentation - all the same chuckles, hints at things being really exciting and about to take a turn for the better. I know it’s his MO but many pis must be fed up with the usual AIM over promise - deliver nothing dilution strategy. As far as IMM is concerned if he’s really over cooked those interviews and nothing comes then support for IMM would really collapse. The company absolutely cannot move forward with its patent process for P140 unless there’s a fairly ‘chunky’ deal to finance it. If that’s now looking unlikely and Ketan has been brought on board in an attempt to find iis who will help pay for it then IMM is done for. If P140 is half the things Tim recently claimed then big pharma would be fighting between themselves for ownership or control of it. They aren’t. So imho there is no way iis are going to look at all the data and come to a different conclusion and suddenly stump up enough cash to fund the requisite studies and trials to get P140 to commercialisation. PE firms will only be willing to come on board for a few £m in placings that will guarantee them a short term profit via forward selling and lots of gullible pis.

So, I have reservations about the reasons behind the new NED’s appointment. We will see. Only another 9 trading weeks to go and Tim said 6 weeks ago a deal could happen from ‘any time now…’. 6 weeks later and nada. Starting to get feelings of Deja vu.

No utter blx. The 80% you mention as being held by iis includes the likes of numerous shared dealing platforms such as Hargreaves Lansdown. The vast majority of shares are held by pis.

And if this was about to really really rocket do not think Lanstead would benefit even more? Or do you think are only interested in making a small profit? Honestly! Just be realistic and cut the fantasy stuff. I’m NOT saying there won’t be a deal OR that it might not be done by year end but I think banging on and on about major deals with big pharma suggests you’ve taken every word Tim spoke literally and as Gospel. Can you tell me how he’s going to do that please? Will they be happily waiting on the sidelines for the sp to go through the roof on news of a deal and THEN invest? Er.. Why would a placing be such a bad thing if at 10p ? Would strengthen IMM’s position in any negotiations.

Oof. Good luck with all the treatment and never give up hope and belief in a positive outcome. I had stage 4 bowel cancer 3 years ago and am now in full remission. I wish anyone who has to face this kind of personal health challenge every good wish. Personally I would have liked him to come back as CEO but that’s obviously not going to happen. Just focus on recovery.

GDR needs to rid itself of its own cancers too - the Chairman and current BODs.

Come on J Kemp, you know perfectly well no one in their right mind, or Tim’s position, would risk scuppering a deal by leaking silly bits of news.

I am more concerned that watching the Inc presentation Tim is back to his old best, everything is really exciting but no sales for Inc and yet big promises but no means of guaranteeing. That’s his MO and he’s been at it big time with IMM recently but this recent appt doesn’t add up for me.

How often have people watched an AIM stock enjoy a significant rise with no explanation only to be hit with a placing with no warning? Tim may have deliberately overdone things in the interviews in early Sept with the specific intention of raising the sp and then get iis in at a higher price than would otherwise have been possible. Let’s face it, if Ketan gets a placing away at 10p then that’s an awful lot better than 2p. Any potential placee will want some assurances of what’s really going on and if they DO actually get on board. It would be a good sign imho.

Hmmm just poked my head in here and see the Bid has dropped just a bit further. Suspect it’ll fall more over the next few weeks before news of a partnership deal is announced. When it does it’ll be fun. If this drops to below 8p I’ll be loading up much more!

I think DN is increasing his stake as quickly as possible without causing a crazy run on the sp so that he can block any moves by Gino and co to put the company into administration. If they’ve been in bed with Allenby clients and the latter feels rather cheesed off that their plan to make a quick buck with this failed placing has gone t.ts up, it’s possible they’ve decided the best way to get their money back is to buy the company Ina distressed sale and instructed Gino and Russ to get it suspended, delisted or into administration as soon as possible and effectively get it off the market. If DN has enough clout then he can block that move. I think he will continue to increase his stake , helping the sp recover in the mean time, until he can block any more destructive moves by the existing clown consortium on the Board.

DN is, as far as I’m aware, the only person capable of accumulating shares to such an extent it moves the sp up significantly. If he’s at it again then he must be jolly confident of what’s coming in the short term…good signs for sure!

He has already stated he doesn’t want to buy GDR but it’s a long term investor with high hopes for a very good return on his money. Just need to get some professionals in to be the Company Directors - and ones paid a sensible salary that get rewards for achieving targets and milestones and an increase in share holder value. Novel idea eh Gino/Russ?? Get the greedy ones’ snouts out of the trough asap imho

Coochie, given everything that has transpired over the last twelve months I would say it’s likely those figures spoken by Gino in the May investor presentation - at which he refused to accept any questions (why would that be? Highly unusual in an investor presentation!) - were at best fanciful if not outright fabrication, designed purely to lure in more hapless pis. That was the phase when everything positive was stressed and everything had enormous potential. Then of course they flipped and everything became negative and the funding proposals were essential for company survival. Oh and btw at historical lows yes, we the Directors will have a flutter, but not any higher than 0.2p thank you!

I think the original figures talked of were probably far more realistic eg £100m per year, especially as commercial traction even in the last three years for MT-RNR1 has just got nowhere. However, achieving even 50% of that would be a game changer for GDR and its share holders.

I stress and repeat…DN would not have bought well over £100k worth of shares in the last fortnight if he had no clue how this would play out. He will have a plan and I imagine it’s one that will see the sp recover well even in the short term.

What would absolutely send this rocketing would be news from NHS/NICE on publication of the implementation guide. The pilot finished in late April. It’s nearly 6 months and they STILL haven’t published the results.

I’m also hoping there might be news on FDA application. The BOD stated early 2026 but recently changed their minds and told the market much more data was required. Which is true? Did they overstate anything negative to try and swing the vote to Yes?

Come on DN you’re presumably talking to the BOD who want to save their jobs. Get to the bottom of what’s been going on and if there’s been skullduggery then root it out. Call an EGM proposing removal of Directors who have worked against the interests of ordinary share holders for so long.
