Jimi - I made that point yesterday. It’s the De Novo process we need AIHL to be used for. Cheap and quick it should give clearance for marketing in the US possibly even sooner than we get the NICE guidance update in February.

It’s depressing to see the sp sink back down but hardly surprising Day traders took advantage yesterday. Long term this is imv a solid investment with really excellent prospects if only the CEO can sell something, even if it’s his soul!

speaking personally the closer we get to that NICE guidance and now US approvals to market the AIHL kit the more I hope GDR go for broke and keep it all in house along with a good distribution company. With only 93m shares in issue that's how we'd see the biggest increase in value as share holders. Might take a little longer than a takeover or some of of farm-in but ultimately the sp would truly rocket if the revenue streams are opened in the US. Then there's the rest of the world...

How great to see a rise and positive news released for once. Again, totally out of the blue thanks to Budd keeping silent but I'll leave off him for one day at least.

Going to be interesting to see if Budd opts for Beckman again to distribute AIHL in the US.

It’s a bit strange and surprising that neither the Athabasca or FCM updates have had any impact on POW sp. Perhaps everyone has already taken their positions and now it’s a case of wait and see what transpires at Molopo. Thought we’d see at least a little tick up. Hey ho

This is a good healthy and steady rise. Far better than the lightning quick spikes we’ve seen so often here. Long May it continue. I’ll be extremely happy if we can hit and stay above 15p by the end of the day.

System ffs read the bloody RNS! This is NOT a fast track for US approval!! It’s a process to assess whether or not GDR can even submit the testing kit for approval. No timings are mentioned but we know from experience that it’s not quick AND that there is no guarantee it will receive the necessary approvals to be sold in the US.

Sorry to put a dampener on things but this is a very early step in a long winded process. A good step, yes. One that will lead to immediate re rates of the sp? I very much doubt it imho

Good spot Jimi. I'm beginning to think that reference to delayed NHS orders is the GDR AIHL machines after all. It's still not the news we all wanted to hear from Budd on sales but via other sources - another company even - we're managing to finally put some kind of picture together of what might lie ahead. Thanks IHC. Budd, thanks for nothing.

Baserite - for once I'm agreeing with you but the possibility of a hnwi/philanthropist had occurred to me. I'd daydreamed about the likes of eg Bill Gates just throwing GDR the £2m they need to get US approvals for AIHL. You never know. Any such individual that was that way inclined but looking at it from an investor's point of view could easily talk to Budd and agree a placing price for their £2m extremely confident in the knowledge their money would at least double if not more with in the next 12 months, probably much more in the next 18 - 24 months. In that scenario the burning question would be at what price would Budd take the money... I think that would be a huge sign of confidence going forward and certainly make sleep easier at night that eventually I'll make a profit with GDR.

Still massively disappointed Budd has chosen to stay silent for the last 6 months other than to state the obvious in a handful of RNSs eg We are pleased to receive CTDA approval.....we are pleased NICE have decided to fast track the AIHL assessment etc

beech: with a current share price of 10p why on earth would a potential buyer offer 50p to but GDR?? Get real ffs! That’sa premium of 500% for a company that has no proven track record in sales of any of its products! Any offers made now would be in the region of 20p - 25p imho. Sadly most share holders are so disillusioned with Budd at the helm I could see it being voted for too.

I see IHC in their interim results referred to ‘delayed NHS orders’ as a contributory factor to their worse than expected income figures. Mostly down to the wretched war in Ukraine but I wonder if GDR’s AIHL machines are in fact the ‘delayed orders’ whilst everyone awaits NICE guidance..?

If we aren’t sold down the river on the cheap by Budd then GDR can do well next year. Really well. Patience needed and some blind faith in our CEO that he isn’t going to shaft us all by deliberately tanking the sp with ongoing silence only so a pharma can scoop GDR up for peanuts and pay him a back hander and keep him in his job.

We’re actually now at less than 50% of consistent levels before the pandemic struck. If any one needed any proof or convincing of just how appalling Budd’s performance has been in commercialising GDR’s products then I think that’s fairly conclusive. He’s spent a fortune. He’s made no profit and sold almost nothing. At least another 3 weeks until we hear about the interims- and we know they can’t be good or we would have had an RNS on at least one positive aspect of sales - so my money is on single figures by the time we get there. Single figures will hopefully provide a major jolt to the Chairman to finally do something about Budd and help us remove him from his position z& replace him with someone who has a proven track record in selling something. Anything.

If the next news is bad and the AGM fails to remove Budd then imho we’ll see a raise early in the New Year to help keep the lights on whilst we await revenue from AIHL adoption and regular use. By end of Jan/Feb I think we could be down to 5p. And for those who just think I’m being overly pessimistic, I did predict back in July we could hit 10p if there was no news. Not happy about it but we’ve got to be realistic and play what’s in front of us rather than do nothing and just keep our fingers crossed that System, nissan and co just might get it right one day.

The certification process, including ISO9001 accreditation, started recently and should cover a wider range of tests and enable global distribution in on- and off-grid locations, Verditek said.

The company expects to receive full certification in the second half of the year. (that being 2021)

Well, we're now in Q4 of 2022 and still nothing. This Certification process has so far take over 18 months. Is there a serious problem? Perhaps it was an April Fools gag. It's a blinder if so.... Come on, update your share holders on what the hold up is please.

Is going to be fascinating to see what David Budd has to say regarding sales of the Covid PoC kits. We’ve had distribution in 4 territories for quite some time now (Spain, Portugal, UAE and Oman) and been allowed to sell it in the uk since the end of May. Having spent so much time, effort and money on getting this test produced and approved I wonder how Budd will dress up the news for us poor pis if none or almost none have been sold. I wonder if there will be any humility? Doubt it. His number one priority is his own salary and two fingers to pis who are share holders.

Not sure we’re going to receive any updates until the AGM and interims. Had hoped for something within the 6 months Budd himself mentioned in the last investor presentation but yet again he’s gone to ground and we’re left scratching our heads wondering what he’s doing to earn his meagre crust.

There’s not much in the way of real geology spoken of. We’re still don’t have any geology geological or mining expertise on the board. Not that I think for a second we’ll mine Molopo ourselves. It’s all a case of innuendo atm and that’s why the sp isn’t careering skywards. Everyone wants to see results now because in this current global downturn all markets are struggling and no one is prepared to risk much. If you do with POW though I guess the rewards could be huge. Everyone’s risk level is different for different reasons but it’s no surprise we’re holding at current levels. I have a notion PJ wants the sp to fly so that a potential JV partner will come in with more cash as a set % of POW’s mcap. Probably way off the mark as usual.

They’ve stated they will pay a dividend of 1.8p per share. That’s not in doubt is it? RY must know share holders would vote against him trying to do anything else with the money being paid to AMC, surely? Good grief, he’s hardly given anyone a shining example of how he can deliver value to share holders thus far so why would anyone in the right mind put their money behind another venture he sets off on?

Agree Starres, this is definitely not over. It’s just going to take longer to realise the commercialisation of AIHL and stroke tests. In 12 months time the sp will look very very different imo. Unfortunately there may be more pain in the short term to go through and even the possibility Budd will try to sell us out on the cheap. But we’re all have votes- well those who really own shares do. Would love to see a share register to work out what % is owned by pis or nominee holders eg HL.

Yes partly that but also figured that the BODs are loaded up to the eye balls with shares and VDTK is still awaiting certification to sell its new smaller product. In this era of change in switching to renewables surely VDTK’s products have a market.
I don’t like the long periods of silence and lack of detail on the certification issue, no idea when to expect it but it’s already been in the off’ing for a long time, so absolutely think comms could be improved but, on balance and with new partnerships being set up and talk of discussions about new manufacturing plants bring set up it seems a reasonably good punt longer term. I’ve put in a good wedge here but can afford to wait years if necessary. I won’t sell.

We’re only expecting an update within 6 months of the last ‘investor presentation’. What a joke that phrase looks like now. There is the rest of today however for Budd not to miss his self imposed guideline (it wasn’t really as certain or formal as a deadline tbh) so but soon to shoot him down just yet. Results and AGM were never slated for end of Sept.

If an RNS pops up after hours then read carefully between the fingers of clasped hands because it will not make for good reading. If the phrase ‘sales have been challenging’ or ‘modest sales’ with no specific figures then we know they’ve basically not sold anything and we instantly become a one trick pony with everything hanging on AIHL. Imho e won’t have any detail on reliable revenue for AIHL until 6 months after the NICE guidance is published so in the mean time, with no income, the sp would stumble and a raise will be announced to ensure GDR is covered securely beyond Sept 2022 just in case there are any hiccups with AIHL. Given David Budd’s track record I don’t think anyone should assume AIHL will be plain sailing and bring home the bacon for Budd.

Yep marked it incorrectly again. It's a buy. Such an unfair system specifically designed to obscure which way interest in a particular stock is flowing. Great for the pros who establish rapport with the mms but absolutely misleading for poor pis.

how this trade is reported.... just bought 8648 shares at 1.735

Already one from earlier at the same price marked down as a sell so I'm not hopeful LSE will accurately report this one either but it's hopefully useful to someone to know what's going on with LSE figures at the end of each day.
