Think £4m in the bank right now is optimistic base but it’d obviously be great as that would cover the monthly bills (with the annual tax credit arriving in March) up to next September even.

Grim - I wasn’t aware the £1m tax refund was an annual thing. I know we received that last year but do you know it’s due again Come January 2023?

No one knows for sure because Budd mentioned extra spending on getting products out to market but with no details. My rough (very rough) estimate/guess is about £2.5 a- £3m at end of September. If we’ve no revenue coming from any sales then I think Budd will go for another placing when we get to about 3 months before running out of cash altogether so end of January perhaps??

My vague feeling is Budd will try to put some positive spin on the way things are looking for H2 in 2023 and rather skirt over the last 6 months with a generalisation of something like ‘market conditions have been challenging’ or ‘sales have been modest’ without going into detail on the numbers.
Again, just my humble opinion but I think next year really does look as if it could see a sea change in GDR’s fortunes. Just got to be patient for another 6 months or so.

Think you're right Starres. Have to say it's massively disappointing to think after six months GDR have just about managed to give 8 kits away in the UK. Sorry but i just can't bear to read any more utter rubbish from you System. It's inane, largely unintelligible and puerile in the extreme. I rarely filter anyone as I like to hear all views from investors - no one gets it right all the time but you are never right other than when an RNS does finally land and you scream from the roof tops 'I'm right again!'. I used to find your blind faith mildly amusing but now it's just tedious and I can save myself a few minutes of pain each week by not having to read your utter blx. Same with nissan.

There are some good posters on this board, some lean to the positive, some to the negative but they all have something useful to say. System and nissan are either monumentally thick or just taking the mickey out of all the other posters on here by being totally OTT and impossibly optimistic.

Let's hope for some better and more concrete news next week but I feel we're going to have to wait until the results and AGM to hear more than a couple of sentences from Budd on how things really look for what has been his focus for the last two or three years ie commercialisation of GDR products.

I love the line from PW near the end of the RNS ‘preserve shareholder value’. Well, Peter, in one day you managed to wipe over 20% of share holders’ value off the sp. Way to go.

It’s very simple imo. Energy costs stay high and BTC doesn’t rally then ARGO goes bust unless the strategic investor is willing to sink more money into keeping it alive. In that scenario I can see PW being pushed out. So the big question is how long will the way in Ukraine last? Once the energy crisis is over and inflation brought back under control then I see BTC recovering. Most economists are forecasting some kind of recovery in 2024. If Putin presses the little red button though all bets are off.

Numbers rising but not that many serious cases. The message from authorities is to get your next vaccine, boosters and flu jabs. Nothing on testing yet. Is there any way GDR can benefit from this next winter wave with its fabled PoC tests? Not sure they’ve spent anything on advertising in the uk and we know they don’t have any distribution for the uk so perhaps it’s a forlorn hope.

I'm doubtful that any strategic investor is going to stick with a buy-in price of 27.6p if the actual share price sinks below that.

PW has blown this and as many have stated here today, has very openly put the 'distressed' sign up for all to see. Said strategic investor now has PW and ARB over a barrel. They call the shots, PW says but that's not so good, they walk. They can now go back to him next week and suggest 25p. Oh no, hang on, we meant 23p. If BTC drops again and the sp sinks even lower then I just can't see ARB getting this 'exciting subscription agreement' - which by the way there was no way we were going to offer ordinary share holders who have supported the company over the last two or three years of chaotic strategic thinking (PW did well to get his £2m+ out when he did) - over the line without incurring even worse terms.

Essentially it's all over and I can soon see PW himself being removed once the two new Directors are on the Board and get under the skin of the others. Who ever it is isn't coming on board for the ride. They either want ARB for themselves or they want to ensure it fails so someone else can pick it up for peanuts.

it was big volume nissan - £1 to be exact. I think the MMs are having a laugh at our expense. The BID certainly didn't budge so it's a nothing trade.

The pre submission RNS got a lot of people easily excited but once it sinks in you realise it's simply a precursor to being told by the FDA which route we need to go to gain approvals. Seems pretty clear to me that as AIHL has no competitor GDR will need the De NOVO process. How long that takes is anyone's guess. 90 days until we hear definitively from the pre submission which route and then most likely at least another 6 months after that until it can be sold in the US. As far as I understand that RNS the result of the pre submission itself will not be the starting gun to marketing, it's just the start of the next approvals process, and determines for us which one will be necessary. NICE guidance in February might help speed up things up but no guarantee of that....

Everyone back to sleep for another few months. AGM will be fun to see if DB gets the boot and for share holders to finally hear what he has to say on sales in Spain, Portugal, Oman and the UAE. As stated by many here I suspect there is no significant sales news and that's why there hasn't been a single RNS on the matter for 7 months. Think DB will try to get something uber positive out before the AGM for obvious reasons but then announce a raise in Jan or February. Might only be a modest raise but I do think we'll see one sadly as he won't want to risk going up to the wire on when funds run out.

If this company ever pulls its finger out and gets certification over the line and a few sales contracts with Bradclad and Protan AB then this sp will soon see new heights.

Stephen 11 - one thing you need to take into account is that Budd in the investor presentation stated they would be spending extra money and putting more resources into helping sell products and making the market aware of AIHL. There were no details as to exactly how much or on which specific actions the extra money would be spent on. That could be £1k a month or it could be £50k. We simply don’t know but my point is that it’s optimistic to say we’re fully funded until June 2023 when the running costs of any business will have increased hugely owing to the energy crisis. I agree with your timing for a placing if one is required but think it’s more likely to happen just after the AGM ie start of 2023. Just my opinion.

Disappointed the rise has all but disappeared already but that’s an indication of how little the market trusts Budd at the moment. Any sign of a quick profit and people grab at it. At least we are edging away from the 10p mark and single digits and that’s at least a good start to going in the right direction.

Imho another bump or two to be expected before GDR turns things around in a major way. As recently stated, I feel we’re so close to getting things right now that I’d prefer Budd NOT to sell us out or take on a JV partner, even if the price was generous. We’ve endured three years of terrible volatility and failed sales but things are tantalisingly close to doing a 180 now and I’d like it if pis were rewarded by enjoying see GDR keep everything under one roof and watching the sp fly.

The relentless comms are far more preferable to endless silence that you get with many AIM CEOs but for all PJ’s efforts at the moment to whip the market up in to a frenzy over Molopo it’s just not having the desired effect. The sp resolutely refuses to budge over that 1.6p mark for the moment.

How long does it take to get the really serious and most accurate figures and results for what is in the ground? Did I read 3 months or just making that up? Would be just around Christmas time if so but I hope we’ll have strong indications before then. Unless PJ goes totally silent…and then things will look lively!

PW hasn’t even got this placing in the bag yet. If he can’t get that over the line then it’s curtains for Argo.

Bugger. Some poor decision making and questionable business strategy along the way have led to this, together with the other major factors outside the control of PW and the Directors. It was always a gamble. Some you win, some you lose.

If he gets the placing and BTC rises over the next 12 months we survive and love to see another day.

I’m finally out of EUA. Didn’t have much left anyway (only £25k). After such a long wait for the BOD to deliver I’ve finally lost all patience here. I got sucked in emotionally to this stock and dared to dream of great things. Directors have done nothing for the value of the sp but are suddenly rewarding themselves with far higher salaries? Looks to me like they’re getting money out whilst they still can.

Putin manoeuvring towards employment of short range tactical nuclear missiles will spell the end of any kind of investments in Russia for years imho. EUA will be lucky to exist on the London markets and even if it does it will be worth only a small fraction of current share price. Russia won’t back down and could well be deliberately retreating to allow Ukranian forces into areas they will then nuke. It’s a terrible situation for anyone in that part of the world and our financial concerns in the greater scheme of things are neither here nor there but for me I can’t see how the Directors can achieve anything remotely akin to a value sale so decided to finally call it a day.
