Corby: the ‘risk’ I refer to is not pertaining to the Molopo project, it’s the risk the vast majority of investors are not willing to take at the moment in such a volatile and depressed market. The Molopo project and related drilling campaign is not guaranteed to be a success. PJ has given every clue/hint and encouragement to people that Molopo could be ‘transformational’ but always with a caveat of ‘we don’t know for sure’ what’s there in the ground, so it is still an extremely risky thing to invest in.

These numbers will start to hit the headlines soon if they continue to increase. My own feeling is GDR has just missed the Covid boat but you never know. I’ll be fairly flabbergasted if there are meaningful sales figures from the 4 countries where we have had distribution in the last 6 months. Not expecting to hear from Budd now until the Results and then AGM. Going to be fascinating to see just how well/badly sales have gone.

Fortune now needs to deliver something positive to share holders for a change or the sp could sink even further than where we are now - that is the lowest levels for five and a half years! If Vanadium prices rise and business gets going again once China is back to work then I just hope we can see us climb back some way towards 10p. Or is that a forlorn wish..?

Well, we now know it was nothing more than yet another pump and dump. As I said last week, the market doesn’t trust this CEO any more. He’ll have to deliver proof of sales and income flowing in or we will struggle until the NICE guidance.

I think the fact AIHl was developed hand in hand with the NHS and it’s now been fast tracked suggests it’s highly unlikely not to receive the stamp of approval and ‘best practice’. At that point I expect news to flow quickly of numerous NHS Trusts adopting it. Once it’s for operational with in the NHS I then think it’s highly unlikely to fail any kind of tests or approval processes anywhere else in the world. Indeed, the fact the NHS will have adopted it across the country might mean that’s good enough for certain territories where testing standards aren’t quite so stringent and time consuming.

Lloyd - serious question: are you a disgruntled GDR employee who invested in the company? I see this is the only company you ever comment on so probably heavily invested and doubtless well in the red, as am I.

I believe GDR is fast approaching a turning point in fortunes. By next March once the NICE guidance has been published and starts to sink in the sp will likewise do a a U turn and give us all some much deserved respite from the relentless red days we’ve endured these last two years.

Actually whether Budd is still CEO or not won’t matter as long as GDR start to generate income.

Going well then Peter! ARB has to rid itself of this fool as soon as possible. Terrible decisions and far too much of a risk taker. Let’s hope the new strategic investor is someone that knows what they’re doing and can boot this fool out as soon as they’re invested.

It’s an odd day when one doesn’t wake up to a post from System and Nissan confidently predicting £1.23 by lunchtime, it’s day RNS incoming…. Have they finally sold out? All gains from last week now evaporated. Budd remains silent. I don’t think we’re going to get any updates at all. Just the results and AGM RNSs for the rest of this year.

Just have to agree to disagree with popeye and base on when we’re likely to need the next raise. Imv it’s going to be early next year once Budd has got his salary secured for another year. Get the bad news out of the way quickly knowing things will look a lot rosier in 12 months time - when he’ll probably come with his begging bowl ash’s and request a rise or bonus…

Sorry Popeye, I’m all for the positive stance but Budd started at the end of March in that investor presentation the cash burn was £400k pcm. Not sure he’d be out by £100k, or at least one would hope not, being the CEO!

Should add he’s pretty convinced the commodities market is due a major upturn soon, so much is riding on at least one of the POW projects delivering the goodies. He also stated he could easily have imagined the current sp having 20p added to it even as things stand today, if we were in normal market conditions. Basically it seems to me imho that any major score at Molopo is going to cause an exaggerated reaction to the share price. Everyone is poised to get involved but with risk being so minimal for everyone just now no one has really put their wotsits on the line and jumped in heavily. One whiff of proof this is a major discovery and the sp will explode. I hope

Yes, nickel is critical for the next couple of decades, but they need to discover enough of it to make it worth while being mined. First hearing about the grades will be key, then the scale of what they think is in the ground and then what they plan to do in order to make the most of it. I’m guessing a JV partner would be the best option but not sure what would give POW share holders the greatest return in the short to mid term. Tense times. I bet PJ can barely sleep! He’s said an awful lot of very positive and encouraging things about Molopo recently so let’s hope he doesn’t have to do a kwasi-kazi like U turn on his enthusiasm.
