Agree with all the positives from Jock and Tricky here.z just begs the question why has Marla left it quite so late to sort funding? She must Have seen the share price dropping more and more every time she did a drawdown on the CLNs and realised it was going to run into trouble - ‘constraints in market conditions’. Maybe Alumni Capital are circling and positioned themselves to be head of the queue if it ends up going into admin, then they pick it up for a song? Dunno but it’s too close for comfort imv. I’m hoping Marla has been banking on a contract being signed but that it’s taking just a little longer than she expected, hence she’s valiantly put a couple of months salary on the line until that gets over the line. Any news along those lines and Trellus should be home and dry. Just too many serious names involved and too many things now well positioned and poised for success for this to go belly up, surely? Or maybe that’s the problem and there are forces working to steer Marla and her crew onto the rocks so they can swoop in and pick it up for peanuts. I bought a little more so now have just under £5k riding on this. If I can dig up any more info than offered by others I’ll post but Seems like btwn Tricky and Jock they’ve got it covered. I’m scratching my head as to why Marla would bother putting up a couple of months salary if it’s all going belly up or even if she’s hoping JJ will take it on the cheap and with her in tow - they could easily change their minds and dump her the second they took control and also why wait until the end of April? They presumably have enough intel to justify extending the mngt contract for another 6 months and buying Trellus would be pocket change for them, even if the acquisition price was £5m ie 10x today’s mcap.

No idea what’s going on and I can see it looks terrible from our side of the fence but I wouldn’t be surprised if something rather left field transpires after these next 3 or 4 weeks. Squeaky bum time I believe is the expression….positive thoughts to any who decide to hang on.

We either lose the lot or I think there’s every chance it becomes a 2 or 3 bagger in a matter of minutes once they reveal Trellus’s fate.

Typical of mms. They’ve marked down the BID on almost zero volume and then with admittedly only a few £k of buys but almost no sells they won’t nudge it back up.

Well, the loan is unsecured so they are risking $50,000 of their own money if this goes Ellie up. This to me suggests they perhaps no there is a funding solution just around the corner and they need this to tide them over. Maybe I’m wrong but I can’t see why else they would bother putting the $50,000 up front only to lose it.

I suspect Marla has done the dirty here and has planned all along to run it to this point and take it private. If they can afford a loan then they can probably afford to offer share holders something derisory to have it all to themselves.

Oh well I’ll email Lisa back telling her she is wrong too eh hanila. Desperation is acute I understand that but just wishing something to be true doesn’t make it so. I understand the rules just fine thanks.

J and J don’t need to completely wipe out TRLS shareholders . £5m would be peanuts for them to take it and keep everyone cheery. Do they really need to scrape about wiping tiny outfits out like this for the sake of what to them is really very little money.

J &J are paying them a mngt fee so presumably the cash from CLNs was being used for funding tests etc. now that cash has stopped one assumes the testing has stopped and following on from that will J &J now walk away?

Tricky, even if they were sells, and the scenario looks entirely plausible, someone has bought them all. Question is who? Two possibilities: mms taken them and holding on to them in expectation Dr Marla is going to come up with a rescue plan at the death and so they can make a very healthy profit should TRLS have yet another of its momentous spikes or someone is accumulating shares. With the %s involved we should of course see a TR1 but again the LSE AIM casino means these can be withheld from market view in various circs. If someone can prove they’re on a pattern of buying and building a significant stake over a period of time then they’re allowed to delay submitting a TR1 until they’ve reached their target number of shares. But they have to communicate this to the LSE authorities first. Not so plausible?

Last one from me today, I also think this is more being held up artificially by mms in readiness for a load of selling from Lanstead that will begin in the next two weeks once the 20% dilution is approved. £16k of sells today and less than £100 in buys and the I see the sp is up at 5.4p. I’ve a horrid feeling this is going to stay like this for the next ten days or so and then start to tumble.

Ok hamila, I understand those rules. Very clear. What YOU don’t understand is that IMM are not considered n a closed period. Email Lisa and she will confirm this is the case for you. Ok? That means the Directors are not in possession of anything meaningful with regard to their discussions that could be deemed price sensitive. The ‘science’ as everyone keeps going on about has NOT been jumped on by any partner yet because there is more work to do and this is apparently ‘ongoing at pace’ in an attempt to keep discussions moving.

Hamila, email Lisa. She will be very clear in her responses to these questions and confirm Directors are NOT in a closed period Im afraid. I know you’re desperate to believe that but it’s just not true Im afraid.

Negligent s as well as unprofessional? That’s price sensitive news because the amount they now owe is about a quarter of the mcap. Nothing. They’ve missed the deadline so it’s not coming and there has been no extension. Have CTAI now written it off?

Sorry hamila. You’re just wrong. Nothing to state specifically we’re in a closed period. Other companies signing NDAs so they can access the data room doesn’t necessarily mean stops discussions are going on. DD has been going on now for seven months and still no sign of serious negotiations are underway. Again, you should write to Lisa. She has been incredibly helpful in answering several of my questions and, whilst certainly not giving anything away that is price sensitiveX she answered my questions knowing perfectly well exactly what I was really asking. I’m 100% convinced we are not in a closed period and that there are NO negotiations yet underway. Ie no deal even on the medium horizon. I doubt there will be one this year and think Tim will now start releasing news only mentioning the new drug as a means of diverting attention away from his latest failed story of delivery.
