I hope no one jumped on the HE1 wagon as the wheels came off it at about 8.03am and it didn't recover all day. Given market turmoil today CPX did well to hold its current level. Hoping for some +ve news before long. Need something to take my mind off what's happened at GDR these last few weeks.

Sorry Baz, but no way on earth a trade that size can be a buy towards end of play and there isn't some kind of a recovery. It will have been worked through over two or three hours probably keeping the sp low, at or about 1.14p. I can see why there are many so desperate that they need to believe it's a buy so let them think that. Tomorrow morning there will most likely be another one and we'll see the sp drop early and stay at what ever level the price has been set. I'd imagine it's something like 1p if there's another sell lined up of that magnitude. Unless there is insider trading going on, no one in their right mind would put such a bet on HE1 at this current stage.

Couldn't find a link to that most recent presentation in which they laid out the timings for FDA approval for both tests. I know CYP2C19 isn't expected to be on US shelves until 2027 - I think that's what Gino said - but can't recall what was said with regard to Mt-RNR1. Anyone remember please?

Two possible scenarios

Starting to wonder if Lorna and her BoDs have been played by a bigger force here. They've made a series of catastrophic decisions and clearly been promised the license by someone or else why would they be so insistent that they're applying for it in the next couple of weeks. What happens if the license is refused? That would really be the end of HE1 and someone would pick up the pieces for absolutely peanuts. It's a dastardly game after all....Tanz govt could also be involved.

Or, on a slightly more positive note, Lorna and buddies know a buyout is coming for the Tanz assets and so lined up the US acquisition in order to keep their salaries going on another venture once they've handed over everything in Tanz.

First option means share holders lose everything. Easily possible.

Second option, what buyout price? HE1 are hardly in a strong position but at least if they got something reasonably sensible to sell they would have some cash in the bank to pursue the Galactica project. £100m to sell? Would give all share holders about 1.88p per share to walk away or they could choose to stay and ride their luck on the US project.

Waddya reckon? If I was offered 1.88p per share I'd TTMAR as fast as I could.

Today has clearly been a 'huge milestone' in the demise of this company unless the second of these options is in play. It would have taken some serious planning and cunning diplomacy on Lorna's part to pull that off so...nah it's the first option. lol

Yes, actually what happened to the sp last time Lorna did an interview? Perhaps on second thoughts we'd best hope she stays at home today after announcing 'yet another huge milestone' which has wiped almost 20% off share holder value.

As for Pegasus, they must have seen Lorna and sidekick coming and been licking their lips. HE1 have bought in for $1.5m and now have to fund the drilling of 6 wells over in the US. Well, why not? HE1 is awash with cash...oh, hang on a mo.....

I would not be surprised if the Tanz govt now denied HE1 the license seeing as they have absolutely no money to progress the other wells to see if they make the priject commercially viable. Why is this so difficult for some people to see?

Is for a jv imo or a buyout. mcap of £62m is ridiculous. If Lorna was offered £75m - £100m for the whole shebang then share holders should bite their arm off and run for the hills squealing with delight. It's that or it's going to end up being worth nothing and tha Tanz govt will just hand the license to a major who can actually deliver something from it.

Placing announced by end of the week but I think she will try to salvage something from today and get the sp back up to 1.25p before thwacking in another massive discount for ii pals.

Lorna has now put HE1 in a very weak position to do another raise so once this is under a penny I’m afraid I expect another billion shares at least at a discount of possibly as much as 75% so in other words 0.25p

Honestly, if it gave her £6 - £10m I think she’ll do it.

We should all have known what was coming because of the non sensical US acquisition which should have been totallly unnecessary.

The real damage was the recent placing that was a totally unnecessary acquisition for HE1 if Tanz was commercial. It signalled trouble in Tanz and deflected focus and obviously robbed existing share holders. Lorna has blown this big time. Only hope is a JV and now HE1 is in an extremely weak position

Share price will fall below 1p today imo

Lorna needs to do one urgently and make it a good one or the next placing will be back to .5p and another billion shares added at least. What a car crash

Best hope is they get the license passed quickly and a JV announced who will put in the necessary $100m or so to finally make it commercial. ATM it’s a great discovery but far from commercial and that’s why the market has given the RNS a massive thumbs down. That and the fact share holders have been shafted three times with massive dilution in the last 18months means Lorna is now shafted herself and HE1 too. What goes around comes around Lorna!

They’re applying for the license though so maybe they have got some interest from a potential JV partner. Time will tell but so far the market reaction is I’d say underwhelming. Lot of silly posts about 2p in the last hour
