Why on earth would they have’ second thoughts’ I wonder? The main basis of many RNSs for the last couple of years has been GDR working towards gaining access to these huge ‘potential’ markets. What can have gone wrong or been said to make the Directors change course?

Hmmm this is not a good development and will impact the share price heavily so if they’ve really changed their minds it should be RNSd. I would not be surprised as I’m fairly sure Gino wants to take the company private and what better way to hand the company in a plate to a private investor than inform the market there will not be any US sales? The share price would drop bells the recent placing price and who ever Gino has lined up will swan in and buy GDR for peanuts. Private investors will easily be able to afford GDR’s annual spend and reap the benefit of all global sales going forward . Ordinary share holders shafted. Even after reaching the company back in May. Thanks Gino.

And in order for this to ‘take off’ there would need to be an RNS announcing more sales. We know from Cheek’s unfortunate msg posted on X that the NHS Trusts outside Manchester are NOT buying so where is this sales RNS going to come from? Answers on a post card.

If the NHS don’t want it why would anywhere else want it? This is now a long long wait for FDA approval and sadly there is absolutely no guarantee that will be successful. There is also the worry that, out of nowhere, this identical test for CYP2C19 gene has popped up and could seriously hamper any progress with an FDA application. GDR really are in the worst position I’ve seen in the time I’ve been invested. Little progress on NHS sales and almost nothing abroad. Dire.

MCNol - Lorna told you (please do pay attention) that the Galactica offer was a sudden offer and so had to be organised super quick or they’d miss out (pmsl). Maybe the next placing wasn’t in place at that moment and so they had to be arranged separately?

I wonder what the discount is for this next placing. Judging by the amount the sp is falling whilst there are supposedly a lot of buys happening I’m expecting all the way back to at least .5p and that it’s for a huge sum which will cover the cost of getting at least another 4 or 5 wells up and ready to go. So, RNS yesterday underplays what’s really known. Price drops hugely in spite of huge amount of buys. So, assume next placing already done and forward selling going on yesterday. Placing announced this morning for another $8m at discount of 50% so maybe .57p

Placees delighted to make quick buck, Lorna gets more cash and those in the know buy massive amounts of shares knowing it’s actually going to come good and the share price will rocket once HE1 come clean and they’ve got the ML? What a huge con. None of us really know what’s going on. All conjecture. The only thing we can all be sure of is that Lorna, her directors and the Tanz govt are NOT playing with a straight bat!

I wonder where the mms will take things tomorrow after that £285k sell just after the bell. Going to slip under a penny almost immediately in my view.

Dobbyy- I think the only reason Lorna didn’t do an interview is because she can’t be made to look serious or competent if she does an interview without mentioning what happens next and where future funding is coming from. Of course if she did then the market would have reacted even more negatively.

They’ve got cash for working capital for another 9 months but if they want to do any more work on secondary wells then another placing it is. That I suspect would drive the sp through the floor. I just don’t see how they can do it and this is why the rushed purchase of the US project happened. They can now talk about that and over a period of time deflect attention away from the ‘huge milestone’ that was the Itumbula EWT

All a bit disastrous for Lorna but she’s treated ordinary share holders with utter contempt so she’ll get what she deserves ultimately.

They simply had to find a way to keep paying their salaries and they probably like the idea of working more in the US than Tanz so they've raped share holders (again!) and got their Christmas prezzies and skiing trips paid for now. As for share holders, look out, the next placing will be along shortly. Vicious discounts on offer if you happen to be am ii with and want to make a quick buck

All seemed pretty good to me so I'm a bit no-plussed as to how this dropped 15% today. Is it just typical sell the news reaction which seems to happen on all AIM sticks these days? Had really expected it to hit 6p.
