Interesting and all highly worthy but it does make it clear for all to see that MT-RNR1 and CYP2C19 are just at the very start of this revolution in patient care using genomics. there real goals are years of not decades away.

Sadly there is no way GDR can survive that long. Not even for one year. It has to be bought out or go into administration and be sold on the cheap to another company. Almost certainly a US enterprise that knows what it's doing in the commercial world.

HE1, CPX, POW, KOD, GDR, GMET, WBI and STX are ALL red today. Several have had good updates recently or are expecting some decent news but all doing hopelessly. Some are turning out to be just appallingly run companies eg GDR and HE1 being the absolute worst.

Another few days of this significant selling imo and then a slow and steady rise. Law of averages says at least one of this motley crew has got to do well... surely?

Yeah almost no progress at all and apparently GDR are still undecided on which route to apply for with the CYP2C19. It must be hard having such great tests and not know which is the best way to sell them.

Just hand them over to a US partner to sell and things will quickly fall into place with the FDA. 50% of significant sales is better than 100% of no sales.

Is there a stubbornness on behalf of the BODs here in refusing to accept they need urgent help with their commercial strategy? It has utterly failed to date in doing precisely what they have repeatedly told the market they are focused on - gaining commercial traction.

I do think Gino must be a very worried man right now. His tenure as CEO could be even shorter than Cheek's because this is heading south back towards the placing price very soon after the recent placings and at a time when the market was expecting to be hearing of sales contracts here and there having heard so much for the last two years from successive CEOs that the company focus has been on gaining commercial 'traction'. Think Gilham's ploy was a desperate one and it hasn't worked. That's what you get when you over promise and under deliver for year after year. Confidence, sentiment all evapourating at a rate of knots now. Disastrous.

If he had 200m shares when the BOD found out he was the major share holder ie a few days ago, since when there has been pretty hefty selling going on every day. Over 50m shares sold yesterday and already over 30m today. If it IS this character then hopefully he will be out within just another few days. Imagine what's going to happen to the sp then.. Good time to build a stake me thinks. I'm in rather heavily here now so hope this sin't going to be yet another AIM dupe... GLA

I’ve no idea if it’s him selling but someone is. I wonder why he failed to declare his holding with a TR1 and has to be exposed by the company as a major share holder. Will he be fined for not declaring ?

Think the market is fully expecting an RNS for the ML but also another hot on its heels for another raise to cover the initial cost of drilling 6 wells or so. Discount going to be another whopping 50% or so but I don’t think Lorna cares one jot about share holders. She has her eye on the big prize and she may well get there but this BOD will trample and crush pis en-route to get there.

Definitely a big down turn towards the end of the week but good buy in opportunities lower. Where is the Q? .75p? Yes, I think so.

All sounding good until I read this line. Aren’t the NHS under NICE guidance increasing the lab testing capacity in the UK? And isn’t that the preferred option for CYP2C19 gene testing? If these Trusts take more than a year to find the money to buy GDR’s machines and tests then by that time couldn’t there actually be lab tests available and in which case no need for GDR equipment?

It is becoming apparent that sales are going to take years to implement but by which time maybe the GDR tests won’t be needed?

More late reported trades. Looks like the two 5million ones were well timed sells but...the real biggy for £45k does appear to be a buy. That's some serious wonga. Really hope that's the last of those blasted 5m sells though. If that Robert Skyrme is intent on dumping all of his c200m shares we may have to wait a short while before this really starts to fizz.

They had no choice with the timing. It was a 'golden opportunity' to make some noise to distract from the poor EWT results. This won't be declared commercial anytime soon and certainly not before there has been at least another 3 or 4 placings to cover all their costs. Sub 1p beckons...tomorrow perhaps? Certainly didn't sell any today. Just wish I'd bought more when it fell back to .46p. Ah well. Good to see this bounce back so quickly. Hopefully seller is now out.

Comms always been this company's Achilles' Heel and Gino is proving to be no improvement on his predecessors. Just got to hope they are trying to get some sales going but let's face it, they have always struggled in this regard. I'm at the point where I'd like to see them merge with another partner like Beckman Coulter who will just take all of that responsibility away from them. The GDR folks don't have a clue how to do it and seeing as their main focus has for at least the past tow years been to gain commercial traction I think it's fair to say they have tried but not done well.

GDR either tries to survive on 100% of its current sales revenue of about £250k pa and hand outs and further placings or merge with an established specialist and have 50% of huge sales revenue each year that would easily cover their annual spend, which in 2025 is going to be in the region of £6m - £7m. Don't forget the monthly spend is due to increase up to £600k per month early in 2025. They really MUST hand over the commercial element of their business to experts in that field. There is no point at all in having a 'potential global market' of even billions of pounds if you can never actually realise that potential!

I think a development like this would have a tremendous impact on the sp as the wider market would finally see a clear path to sales revenue.
