If there is just half or even a quarter of the resources some state EUA owns then an offer of £150 would be dirt cheap and an utter bargain. Share price of about 4.5p

And yet still no news of an offer has EVER been RNSd. Surely Potanin is going to snap this up as its on his doorstep and he has Putin's backing?

There is no shame in being confused by reported trades. It's all designed to allow smoke and mirrors by iis. It's algorithms but set up in such a way that things can be made to appear what they most certainly are not.

Ultimately I guess someone bought those shares but to my untrained eye it appears the major seller is still lurking. It may also be mms working in favour of an ii which has lent placing money to WBI and they are simply forward selling. A placing is likely because the company needs cash badly in order to get everything back up and running. Knowing AIM as I do this is my most likely explanation for receiving bad news the other day and yet the sp is strangely doing ok. I've a nasty feeling we will get an RNS possibly as early as Monday morning announcing a placing. At what discount I dread to think...

If they achieve some sales contracts then its game on. I agree with that. I just don't believe they have managed to get anything significant over the line. They need sales that will provide at least £2m of income minimum to put themselves out of reach from lowball bids, proving they can be worth many tens of millions further down the line. If you are right about the IP having value then the current mcap is it, because the company making an annual loss of several £m every year can't be worth anything. they MUST achieve sales - significant sales - and very soon in order to survive.

Stephen11 - we were told in an RNS that the monthly spend will increase to £600k as of early 2025. Let's assume that's January - we know how much GDR enjoy spending money they don't earn but have received from share holders - which possibly - given you've stated they currently spend between £400k and £450k per month - possibly amounts to as much as an extra £800K up to the end of April. That's most of the £6m gone.

May - Dec £400k per month = £3.2m

Jan 2025 - April £600k per month = £2.4m

That would leave GDR with £400k left for May plus maybe another £250k of sales income between now and then. That means in May we will be receiving an RNS saying something similar to last time regarding GDR as a going concern. We had an RNS stating the company would need funding on March 28th and the RNS that arrived telling us of the placing and massive dilution landed 6 weeks later on May 9th. So, going by that timing we will be told of a similar placing and funding need sometime imo in April.

Not six months later and share holders are already looking at finding themselves in the same ludicrous position. This company cannot sell its products. Nor will it accept it MUST reduce its monthly spend hugely in order to survive. So what does this tell us? The BODs must have a plan up their sleeve in the event they can't raise huge funds next time. They will not forgo their own jobs/salaries or risk the jobs of all their staff and colleagues. Fingers crossed that plan is for International Biomedical Ltd to step in and buy GDR outright. It won't be for much but hopefully if there are one or two more sales contracts announced by next spring and the FDA application actually gets launched (remember GDR are still trying to decide what they're going to do with regard to FDA...) then it might be hopefully at least a little more than the current mcap. Ordinary share holders here have to hope IB Ltd and GDR Directors don't do the dirty on them but this is AIM and it happens all the time. Sorry it's a bleak picture but at the moment I can see and nothing from GDR and its CEO to persuade me any other outcome is likely. One more week and we're at the end of September. Placing price by then if no news?

Hope for a buyout offer from International Biomedical for £15 or £20m and then TTMAR! The likely alternative is share holders are wiped out.

Bearded - who would pay a massive premium for a company that can’t sell anything and is about to go bust? It has money until about next Easter. Then what? When GDR puts out an RNS in say Feb or March stating it’s looking for funding what do you think is going to happen? What will the sp be by that point in time? Do you really think once it’s obvious these machines aren’t going to get sold by GDR that a company will feel forced to put in bids at a huge premium to the current market valuation? Hmmm I’d sleep on that if I were you.

Unless Gino can produce some sales contracts soon then it’s going to be snapped up by someone but not at a premium. It’ll be a bargain basement with share holders being told to accept a rubbish offer or risk losing everything.

To be fair, I’m seeing this on more and more AIM stocks. Decent news updates and then horribly overdone drops in sp. Often on extremely low volume. Seems to be the MO for mms just now taking on some easy gains at pis expense. For GMET a drop of 17% today on less than £50k worth of sells?? C’mon mms get ur acct together. It looks slap dash at the very best and does the LSE no good whatsoever. Put this back it belongs…or have you got someone lined up ready to buy a shedload at this price?

Well whatever those links show the share price simply indicates what investors think of GMET’s prospects now. This has been doing so well for such a while and now a huge drop thanks to the CEO. Cheers Oliver. Hope that US Grant comes through soon…or all the rest of the drill results are boomers.

Yes PaulFG, I saw all of that. Slightly smacks of desperation though. If what you’ve said to the market makes the sp drop, then it isn’t going to do a reversal just because you say the same stuff again but louder.

He not so much as stumbled at the ‘economic’ question/fence as simply refused it. It’s a rare blunder by OF but AIM is a tough gig right now and unless real numbers are provided at some point then it’s very much a case of risk-off for many investors.

I’m surprised by the severity of this collapse though and am wondering how much further it could fall given how far out dropped on less than 20 trades! Could end up being an opportunity to top up/lower average I guess but Oliver baulked so badly at that question I’m inclined to wait longer before buying more.

Live and learn Oliver pls. If you’re going to put yourself up for these interviews then have well constructed answers ready to go on the key questions - actually the only ones that matter to investors - economic? Commercial? Profitable? And please try not to repeat the word ‘potential’ too often. It’s a by-word for holding out a begging bowl or going down on your knees and saying a prayer. ATB to lths. ‘ oversold on the technicals’

That’s the funniest thing I’ve read on this board for quite some time. If you look at the technicals then you’ll see the company spends over £5 million a year its income is currently approximately £250,000 a year. Where do these people come from, I think you’ve chosen the wrong stock to attempt a brief pump and dump. This is only going one way for the foreseeable future.

The Technology and IP are only worth something if somebody is willing to pay for it. As has clearly been shown these last few months nobody, or almost nobody wants to buy the machines. Therefore the technology and IP are worth £10 million maximum as the market has decided.

Still holding 1.6m Tricky. As posted several times I’m holding until end of this month for sales news. Retaining detail from material read in previous days/weeks becomes more difficult for as you get older but is always difficult for those with a low IQ.

I’m not sure the wisdom of people waiting for 20p or 30p here. I was invested years ago and the company proved to be full of promises of jam-tomorrow and never - NEVER - delivered on anything. However I’ve see the recent RNS and watched the price drop back towards 2p ish so have binged £5k in for no other reason than EUA has always managed to completely surprise the market with sudden huge price swings. 20/30p?? Nah, I’d be very happy with 3p and just recover at least a tiny part of my losses from 2022.

The bottom is zero. They have never contemplated reducing their monthly spend so on the current course they’resuevto go bust imo by spring next year unless they can start pulling sales contracts out of a big hat!

The drop will continue until this company can provide some concrete evidence that they are achieving some success in gaining some commercial traction.

In repeated RNSs for the last three years we have been told their commercial strategy has been their focus. Christ knows how things would look if it hadn’t been! As it is they’ve provided precious little in the way of sales contracts to prove they know what’s they’re doing in trying to make GDR a commercial entity.

Personally think Gilham should be looking for a buyer or JV partner who can find the company going forwards at £5 - £6m per year in return for a 49% stake in the company. If he doesn’t then there is a very real risk GDR will once again reach the point where they are weeks away from going bust and have to seek emergency funding. Last time it was at more than a 50% discount and share holders were diluted massively - from 150m shares to 550m. I would prefer 51% of sales income generated by a proper established commercial corporate to 100% of almost zero sales.

This is AIM so anything is possible. The last thing one would expect from a company in trouble is to announce an RNS like yesterdays. I’m puzzled. Half of me thinks they’re sorting out long standing issues and getting their house in order after a long period of chaos but the other half thinks this RNS is to deliberately drop the sp so someone can get in cheap and then they release interims and hey Presto it goes back up on decent reports. Who knows?!
