Omg they’ve hired a recent graduate to head up their business development. Jesus. You just cdnt make it up. Wtf is wrong with senior mngt that they can’t see this girl, no matter how clever and talented she may be, will have precisely zero experience and precisely zero contacts within the industry. Starting from scratch. This is the person who will be responsible for coming up with a strategy to sell their products. Didn’t sound like she’s arriving in to an up and running slick sales department. Oh dear oh dear.

Don’t forget GDR so nearly went bankrupt just in May. It was rescued by a combination of retail investors, Peel Hunt of all people, and an ii or two. It was desperate but now has cash to last until spring 2025 and that includes increasing its monthly spend to £600k per month early in 2025. Yes, £600k per month for a company currently generating sales income of about £250k per YEAR! Gino must be in one hell of a pickle if he hasn’t got further sales lined up to announce soon.

I’m actually liking what I’m seeing here: quite a few very large buys but the sp being pinned back by mms. Gives the rest of us a chance to add more before the mms let it go for their mates. The longer this goes on the bigger the rerate is going to be. Had thought.6s by the end of the month but could be a fair bit higher if stake building is done. Cd also be a precursor to an offer? Anyway, patience will win the day

No one can categorically state the process is already underway and that will only serve to dent confidence yet again in the BODs being clear in telling the market what they’re up to and exactly when things can be expected. This is AIM though so I don’t think anyone expected them to be clear about anything

Rifleman’s hit the nail on the head. Lorna telegraphed she s going to go for another raise and when she does then they’re at such a punitive discount to existing share holders why would anyone bother investing until the next one is over and the sp takes another dive.

I am confused! So you’re saying the FDA review for Mt-RNR1 is already underway? And is this the one which can take about 90 days? Just goes to show how murky the company comms are though

MT-RNR1 - received breakthrough device designation, is selected for De novo route, from which manufacturers will receive ‘prioritized review’.

It’s a huge shame this hasn’t begun already . Why not? What is holding things up? And once it has started how long could it take going the shortest route? This all makes me feel like the conversations going on referred to by the GDR spokesperson might be to do with a potential licensing agreement rather than GDR submitting the tests themselves. GDR are in a desperate situation where they could easily run out of money half way through an application and so I wonder if they’re being forced to consider giving a % away to the American partner helping with the clinical tests? Might end up making far less profit but….50% of sales in the US market and no up front FDA costs is a lot more than 100% of no sales in the US… if it’s an American organisation submitting the whole review might be fast tracked? Just seems nonsensical to be delaying this process when they’ve just raised cash to cover these costs and they are desperate for revenue. The longer they leave it the worse their bargaining position becomes with a potential partner or buyer.

Where have you been duggs?? People have been saying that - reduce r and d spend and monthly spend - for the last two years! And as for a clear commercial plan? We’ve been told in RNSs from about three years ago that this was GDR’s focus!!!! And yet here we are in 2024 and they still haven’t got a clue what they’re doing and with FDA submission apparently they’re undecided as to which route they’re going to go down. You can’t make it up. For some reason they are showing progress down in any way they can and happy to leave shares holders in the dark, knowing full well what will happen to the share price. There’s some dastardly stuff going on that we can’t see. I think Cheek went because he couldn’t get sales to the NHS and refused to go private. Gino? Happy to shaft pis as long as he keeps his job and new salary? Dunno. Just doesn’t add up at the mo. Company has had the best news in ages and shares price is now down over 50% from the day that news was released and the company have said…nothing since.

The sales team do still keep turning up to some amazing looking conferences though with their amazing display…. Clearly money well spent.

Ok if you’re right then it Seems a no brainer to me. Why dither? They have no new sales to the NHS to announce yet and desperately need to shore up investor confidence so a result from FDA in 90 days would be about the quickest way possible of rekindling interest in GDR. Surely they have to go for it. It’s almost like another act of self harm by delaying. And that’s where things just don’t add up for me with this new CEO. Talk about taking things slowly…! He’s posted a msg on LinkedIn and X thus far. Nothing else for share holders to chew on.

Such a dog-eat-dog works these days. No one trusts anything any company says and you’ve got half the market trying to short the living daylights out of even half decent companies in order to make a quick buck.

Cpx with Schurter is an excellent proposition so I’m mystified why the market is still selling here. Dr C running the show and owns 11% of the shares. No debt and they have cash in the bank. And we’re red. I just don’t get it. If there is a seller then let’s hope they’re out soon.

Looking at all the options on offer for Lars it’s surely likely he’s going to do anything he can to get the sp higher. Surely? Don’t see a raise anytime soon and hopefully news soon from Schurter. Sp gotta to be worth .5p even now!

Are you sure about that Jimi? Thought it was the other way around ie 3 months for de novo and 6 to 7 months for 510k
