Two of your posts caught my eye yesterday Jimi. The main was regarding a raise at .75p or higher in order to raise the full £3m. If there is good news and CYP2C19 is to be rolled out asap until such time as the NHS can budget for Lab testing then yes, this could happen. How likely though?

The other post made me suddenly realise they could issue the full 400m shares at an incredibly low price eg .25p to a PE firm for £1m and then a couple of weeks later a low ball offer is made by said PE firm to buy GDR. They would have nearly 40%, well over what is required to make a full offer for the company and of course Gino and Russ may have made that deal already in return for keeping their jobs and salaries and everyone at GDR's jobs being secured. If they've done this then we're all obvs screwed but I think Gino and Russ would quickly find themselves out on their ears as the new PE firm would simply remove them or let it go bust whilst owning the IP. And they then sell it to the highest bidder. It's a grim scenario but with these guys I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they've decided to invite pis to take part in a raise and this is all over and pis have helped create the situation which brings the final curtain down on their own heads.

It's such a complete and utter mess owing to incompetence and it's unthinkable that the Chairman will not have known what needed to be done. Have the Director buys all been a charade? Were they promised major %s going forwards if they delivered the company on a platter? The timing with all the delays has played out spectacularly well if this was their plan. Perhaps that's just all too conspiratorial na dJimi's first post was nearer the mark. We can only hope. Like you Jimi I saw the latest collapse as an opportunity to try and recoup some former losses and I piled in but have a nasty feeling I may have just made a poor decision.

What might make pis happier would be if the Directors take part in the next placing. Say they all doubled their holdings, how would that make people feel? Dunno. It's late and I've had some vin rouge. 14 days to go until the next chapter in this sorry saga is revealed.

And the amount they have invested in TAO must be tiny. Maybe £250k? So even if it does go off on one it’s not going to have much impact on the mcap of CTAI

I would like to think you’re right Jimi but…what would you prefer if you were the lender?? Obviously a larger amount at the lowest possible price. Gino and Russ have put the company in this dire situation where they are now desperate for funds so they can no longer call the shots. Maybe PH will offer more? Another £1m at .6p and that should get the company into 2026 with hopefully good news on some fronts and a share price recovery. Then they do another larger raise at something like 1.5 for another £2m which should get them to end of April. IF - and I stress IF - they submit the FDA application for CYP2C19 (or is it MT-RNR1 first?) and it’s only a 3 month wait for approvals then we’re looking at a very different picture. Personally if they managed that and all becomes much rosier I would be happy to reward the Directors with back pay to cover a 30% salary reduction until such point. I think that’s absolutely fair. Why should ordinary share holders accept ALL the risk?

It’s Ona knife edge but the first and most difficult step has now been taken towards rescuing this from the brink.

The KEY things now are for a) resolutions are passed and b) there is really good news from NICE and NhS in Sept which causes even a small recovery in the share price.

Voting against the resolutions is just stupid and forces everyone to lose everything. Great thinking! Voting in favour gives everyone a chance of saving some of their investment.

John Henry, just don’t embarrass yourself publicly like this. You clearly haven’t grasped what’s going on here. There is every chance there will be good news in two weeks time and the sp recovers to some extent, depending on The news. If it does and they raise £4m to get them through to EBITdA then this will recover fully well above 1.5p and all the deferred shares would be cancelled and we’d be back to how we were this morning. The only thing to be concerned about is whether or not b you believe there’s a chance of POC testing of CYP2C19 being started sooner than next April. There could be a really good opportunity here for lths to buy now at this low price and have themselves a bagger even before a raise is done.

It’s a managerial calamity but there’s possibly a great opportunity here - for those who can get their heads around the situation. Clearly some can, some can’t.

But MIkODX you’re missing the real story behind today’s drop. £95k bought and £65k sold. There are clearly many who see this as an opportunity to get in at new lows before the news lands in Sept with results of the NICE pilot and publication of the implementation guide. I believe it IS possible the guidance will state PoC should be used before any further funding is found for Lab testing next April. Now wouldn’t that set the cat amongst the pigeons! My god there would be an almighty scramble to get back in.

Exactly Jimi. A buying opportunity? The game now is does one buy with the expectation of positive news and a share price recovery BEFORE the next funding is announced. I hope for everyone’s sakes that’s what happens.

Ironically those who feared the worst ie administration should be relieved to learn Gino and Russ are fighting to keep the company alive. Time will tell if they’re in the process of stitching up current holders by doing all this, raising at a horribly low price and 39% dilution and THEN recommend a low ball offer from a PE firm.

If Directors don’t buy at whatever is the new placing price that will be the worst (of many) kick in the blx for ordinary share holders.

These deferred shares simply mean the company can now go and do a raise of new cash. Were there to be good news and the sp actually recovered to say 1.5p then they most likely would be cancelled and the value value of your single shares would be exactly the same as they would had the sp risen today from .8p to 1.5p today.

They’ve now pulled the trigger on which mechanism they’re going to use to try and survive. It’s going to be a rough ride for a few months but there is STILL a chance of good news landing in Sept alongside the implementation guide being published and of course confirmation of the FDA application being submitted in January with a likely result in just three months means things could turn out ok. They could . It’s possible.

The BODs even state they’re excited about the ‘long term’ opportunities so even they don’t see anything improving in the near or mid term. Does that mean FDA application will be delayed? You bet it does.

Hilarious. There have been less than 10 trades today and folks here are posting as if the launchers are rumbling away. Bid still at 3.30 and the spread is too big for me. Just going to be patient. Maybe I’ll get my 3p entry. Maybe not. From there though I admit there’s a good chance of a 50% profit within a few months.

There was a similar sized buy last week, just over £16k I think, so maybe someone is quietly confident and actually building a position? Seems brave given the current lack of comms and financial position but there’s always someone who knows what’s really going on. Just not pis. Good luck to ‘em

Strict employment laws here in the UK. Staff will have to have already been notified if their jobs are about to disappear due to the company going into administration.

In the UK, when a company's jobs disappear due to administration, the company must give employees statutory notice based on their length of service: one week for one month to two years of employment, and one week for each year of service (up to a maximum of 12 weeks) for two or more years. The contractual notice period in the employment contract, if longer, must be given.

So I think it’s safe to assume Gino and Russ have something lined up or, Stocksaint, they have a little more money left in the bank than you suggest.

Yes EmC but…anyone holding more than 3% would have to declare it in a TR1 unless….someone is transferring stock from Peel Hunt. I bet there’s a way that can be done but they only ever held about 10% I believe. Administration will mean Gino and Russ losing their jobs. They will look after themselves first and so a deal of some sort will have been struck. We just won’t know about it until the last minute, as per usual.
