What if there is good news in the next RNS followed by a sp recovery and then a successful raise to get us to + EBITDA in just another 8 months time? 8 months might be the difference btwn total failure and everyone losing everything as a certainty and the company witnessing a complete turnaround and gaining FdA approval for one of its tests and a national rollout in England. Bubble get real. Sony mcap is $122bn!!! They have come after Napster for a sum that is peanuts to them. That sum of $39m is however 20% of Napster’s mcap. We’re talking David and Goliath and when it comes to royalty issues companies like Sony are ruthless in defending their rights. I don’t think this will blow over and now I don’t think MFAI BoDs will have any good news for shareholders holders for the foreseeable. In fact I think this may now just be on a long term slide as the CEO is hardly vocal in expressing enthusiasm for MFAI’s future interests.

Peanuts? Current Napster valuation approx $200m so I think a dent to their valuation and reputation will be impactful to say the least. If an out of court settlement was on the cards it would have been done by now. Damage to Napster will be significant on several fronts going forwards

I think the BOD will do a smaller fundraise to begin with but will deliberately leave it open as to whether or not another placing will be required. If they confirm there’s going to be a further raise then the sp won’t recover anything like as much as it should. Just all depends on news in Sept. If funding is given for PoC testing then we’re off. Also they could bring forward the FDA application as that would definitely heighten interest. Approvals given in just 3 months would really put a rocket under the sp. Then they raise the last bit of cash they need to make it to positive EBITDA and cancel all the deferred shares and reinstate the nominal value at 1.5p

You’re right though about revenues slowly ramping up helping and their case for presenting to the market that they are approaching positive EBITDA sooner rather than later might just help attract the interest of the likes of Peel Hunt. I suppose I’d be happier being involved with them than a random PE firm.
