All the tax reliefs for EVs are really unfair given how much tax folk pay per litre of petrol/diesel. Millions of people in the UK can afford a used petrol/diesel car to provide them with transportation freedom who could not afford hundreds in monthly payments for an EV or 10s of thousands to but same. I any case, it is clear from the recent OPEC conference in the UAE that the trend now is hydrocarbons and renewables working side by side. Norway recognised this years ago. It is time the UK did too. Bit silly to abandon our own hydrocarbons then buy same from others. Bit like owning a lovely home with no mortgage, leaving it empty then renting a nasty flat above a chip shop to live in. :-) Anyway, Solgold owns copper, gold, silver and other metals. The whole world needs and wants those so we have assets with global demand.

We only know that we don't know that much. We can appraise all the RNSs, review all the presentations, view and view again any webcasts and so on but, unless we are insiders, we don't know that much about what will happen. It's all down to opinion and most of us have one of those. Personally, I think Solgold is in its best ever position right now. The Board has a clear plan, is following that and making any suitor(s) be realistic if they want to buy some or all of our assets. Otherwise, we go to production - starting with open pit at TAM most likely. The price of metals is increasing and the PFS and broker forecasts supremely understate the value of the company's assets. DV and team doing an excellent job. Hopeful of significant news this week.

PS, perhaps you need to read the company's stated plans too? You have an opinion and of course you are perfectly entitled to that but the company's plans are statements of fact. As I have said, if an offer or offers come, that's fine but in defending itself, the company has made clear statements about developing TAM/Cascabel and having the funding to do so. Thus, the company always negotiates hard and from a position of strength.

Med, please re-read the company's declared plan (to product). 'Waiting for a bid' is not the company's plan. If a bid comes and the Board recommend it, fine. But that's not the plan. As I say, please re-read all RNS for 2025.

Indeed, Rich and all the while since the beginning of the year, the share register shows the inexorable shift of Solgold shares from the hands of PIs into the hands of IIs. Who'd have thought it! :-)

PS, average gold mining OEICs are up over 100% year to date. I describe that as evidence of a 'super hot' sector. Thank you for the compliment about my age :-)

IP, you make my point better than I did! Interesting times at a company with fabulous assets in a super hot sector. Fingers and toes crossed, eh? :-)

New Board have done very well over the last few months acting in goodfaith and constantly referring to them working in shareholders' best interests. It is plausible that they could be in a situation currently that is better to keep communications to a minimum based on confidential things going on behind the scenes. The mining sector generally is a super hot sector in 2025 and Solgold owns fabulous property. The scope that high level, confidential discussions are going on is 100% certain. Whether they are or not, hopefully we will know in time but for sure they could be and, if so, saying as little as possible would make a world of sense to Board members.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe hole 75 results could come at any stage now and have potential to clear the way to TAM going to production. That would be a pretty signifcant moment in time.

After any vote, folk can and do have an opinion as to how it went. The fact that a vote takes place peacefully and the result accepted even by those who voted the other way is a strong outcome. Just as Winston Churchill said," no one pretends that democracy is perfect or all wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all the other forms that have been tried from time to time'. DN had to gumption to call the referendum and he has been quick to accept the result. Good for him. He'll gain some credit worldwide in showing that although he doubtless hates losing, he's not a bad loser. There's a world of difference between the two.

Being against DN and not contested. This is to the country's advantage given the alternatives and is an example of democratic credentials. In Ecuador this morning, people will know that their vote counted for something whether they got the result they wanted or not. Again, this is a good thing for the country and its future. It shows legitimacy and that is a good thing for the country and parties who own property there and/or wish to invest there. Some news from Solgold this week would be grand.

Well, the referendum has come and gone. DN didn't get the result he doubtless wanted but it was a good result for the country and, in a longer-term way, for DN also. The referendum has taken place peacefully with a good turn out and no question as far as I am aware of veracity. It was an example of democracy in action and this is surely better than the alternatives? The Ecuadorian people have voted with a clear voice and have been allowed to do so without hindrance. I commend DN for that. As far as Solgold is concerned, I don't think the result changes much. Cascabel is still extremely important to Ecuador and will be a key part of its future. Hope we get an update on TAM this week. Other news possible too. Still very happy and excited to be a shareholder in Solgold.

Impossible to be accurate until the company provides more evidence and clarity of TAM and its plans. The cost to production at plan could be $200 million....or it could be $700. It could be just about any number! One thing is for sure, if we go to production with the financial backing of our funders then we will be just fine. News due very soon here. Delighted to be a shareholder of this company. Just wish I could buy more!
