Was that not in the context of having enough cash to cover costs for two years? My hope is that investment is significantly ramped in terms of content creation, market entries and marketing, all of which requires millions. A lot more than 20 million. This is all predicated on successful sales of the Quest and other devices or allowing the content to be accessible by all smart phones.

I personally hope March sees a further fund raise and they start heavily investing post Quest launch.

Post Malone currently has about 4 songs in the top 20 and he's on Melody. Let's face it, this group knows very little about modern music. Diversity is key for me, not Twitter numbers (although they help).

Shame to read that you're losing patience Maxdba. I note that you have been invested and valued contributor for some time. For me, clearly something has changed and it feel like it's the recent Facebook link. I believe that is restricting what the team can do, or perhaps want to do. I would retain focus on the team that's in place, the fact that Quest is coming and the Facebook link. My feeling is that March will be lively. If Quest is wet fart then I'll consider my position, but not yet. I'm still excited.

What's holding them back? Lack of headset sales as mentioned in an earlier post. See case study mentioned NextVR. Clearly, something is in the pipeline here and none of us no what, but I'm sure there's good reason. My only fear is that it could be a sell off below the market rate. Sad to see people attacking someone who's doing something none of them have ever done. I note we have a new Twitter troll attacking AM, seems very consistent with someone on heres messages. I for one will wait and see and not attack an entrepreneur who is probably doing 18 hrs days to make this work. NB - I am not AM :)

I'm not sure China is simple, most social media doesn't work there outside of wei chat. Also, it's very difficult for foreign businesses to recognise revenue there without a local subsidiary. I'm sure smart people will know how to get around these things but they're factors.

From what I can see it's totally different, it looks like music over 360 videos they've created with the artists music over the top, not live shows for big name artists. No app on Oculus. MVR is focused on live and recorded music gigs and, IMO, are doing this well. They should stick to it and build their expertise rather than being distracted. These guys have created a revenue generating business with circa 50 staff in a couple of years, that's impressive. The only thing slowing things down is consumer behaviour with regards to VR usage, that's out of their control.

Whilst I agree that it's promising, I would urge an element of caution as these are 'estimates'. I don't know the first thing about 'Superdata' but assume they know there stuff. For example, BA, your assumptions differed to mine. Either way, good news!

I think it would be short sighted to charge. As you say, create a buzz and stay focused on increasing the potential market size. Imagine, only a few hundred watched it, the ability to attract major stars would seriously decrease.

Absolutely. A CFO leaving a global business he's worked at for 22 years and clearly highly thought of for a start up is a better sign than any chart I've seen.
