Hi all, last year I heard about PHNX bought in, liked the div yield and the sp.

I focus on more.volatile potential multibagger high risk plays, so not that familiar with well known dov shares.

Could you help me what you favourites are, similar to PHNX div yields above or around 7-8-10 % ?

Actually if the chinese are serious here, two different path is possible. They buy us out with a huge premium. Or dilute to the eternal, with great placing, and we will stand with nothing .

This is a risky play, and not only the getting or not getting the green light is the only risk to assess.

NC fact is green energy is a fancy stuff for the west (causing many unsolved problems in the system and the grid), but obviously not a solution for a thirs world high populated country with acute dramatic energy (and FX) crises.

One true gambling, real binary all or nothing to follow is NAK/NDM. Litigation partly as Alaska sued the US goverments EPA for not letting them mining in certain areas. EPA (environmentel prot agency) probably really overrached and made some not really well based decision. With Trump and Alaska unleashed etc zhe stocks sp got on fire, and the EPA with its new leadership asked for max 90 days - in my understanding - to decide how to proceed with the litigation, meanwhile it amends its own rules to fit to a SCOTUS decision relating wetlands and waterways etc . So a real huge triigger may come soon if they will decide to remove cancel their preemptive veto on the project.

If not, litigation will go on, if so, dramatically to the mooon. :-)

When I heard of Emmersons case, obviously bought in, in order to have another play, but I couldnt imagine they kay have so rapidly lit fin bsckground (someone found out, it is probably BUR Burford Capital) from their annual report). They 3-4 folded, the move I expexted only in 6-12 month.

We will recieve many news from ZEN, permanently, thus the sp will be backed, and in a few month in the summer will have ruling , which obviously carries some binary risk, not every investor preder to stay all in at ruling. Additionally there may be early settlement, and if or when aZEN would be nicely awarded on SCC2, Tun will have the ultimate motivation to settle for the ICSID also.

Meanwhile in PAT the hearings and esp ruling are far from now, but the submission of SOC and so the publishing of claimed ammount or wide range of ammounts is expected in a fee weeks (least may 16 ). With gold at 3000, and Bukhla an extraordinary gold mining place and project, there may be surprisingly high claim or range, backed by several sort of model calculations .

So as you cannot tell which is better, or sooner, I prefer holding both.

This CITGO saga, and claimant against VZ is also a story with imminent potential triggers. High risk play, but GRZ become one of my favourites again. Their new 7 bn claim, their old 1 bn already awarded, and potential to be fully paid by Citgo auction and or the Portugal account asset seizure made me reasess their chances again.

We will have several others in the future , but getting into ZEN and PAT not years ago but around these times is quite a luck I think.

In the course of the story unfolding, RML Russoro Minings sp went from 5-7 cent to 1,5 CAD, now around 1 but after 0.55 recently, and GRZ also rose a lot last year from 1.6 - to 6 CAD, getttong back down , but rose again, as they submitted their so called stalking bid or base bid . If accepted, both RML could be paid fully, amd GRZ also, the latter with is partners may buy the refinery firm, well below its long term value. The bid has been submitted this week or last,, and decision will be made soon (in days), and any oppose csn be submitted till end of march.

These are bn usd multitude both.

Risk is the process wont conclued, or that OFAC will not give final permission (earier they aligmed with the process ).

Besides ZEN, PAT, EML, (EQX,SVB, ETM, etc...) this two GRZ and RML are my arb plays , ZEN amd PAT is the most exciting and at current phases are the most sure bet (as far as they can be sure.. :-).

GRZ and RML has their awards for a decade, assrt seizure and getting finally payment is what they are waiting for. (GRZ has another chance in Portugal against VZ bank accounts, and beside they have just initiated another arbitration against Venezuela, for 7 bn usd .

Very long process. There are majy companies with internstional arb rulings from the past, partly but usually not payed at all (even for a decade now.) Then an alter ego decision by a us court made it possible to seize and sell through an auction the 7th largest us oil refinery which is (was) im Venezuelan state ownership. The story is quite complicated, in brief there is 21 bn claim, and this asset worth at least aroind 12-13 bn usd. Last year it was almost concluded, but the chosen bid was opposed by most of the claimants. Thus a new process, concluding this summer.

Hope noone is against discussing other cases (as was the case in another board.) I think most of the interested investors are here (and there) for the arbitration play (and those originally for oil or gas or potash or gold are only a small minority (bagholder - but hopefully soon happy bagholder.). And almost everyone who are interested (and onve succesful) in a case, will look after the next, or in paralel to have a portfolio of these (to spread risks).

Fact is there isnt any such forum, I also hunted all my knowledge or info from dozens of sources. But as I told you before, I always felt some gratitude for those who helped me. We.managed to solve this stuff from PAT board by estabilsh a telegram chanel.

Once beneficial rulings are made ZEN may monetize part of its claim for liquidity, the larger part would carry high interest rates accumulating.

I follow closely another case against Venezuela, all rulings are made years ago, the awarded claimants are hunting the potential seizurable assets.

And another where the defendant state didnt payed even its own counselors, lawyers, thus the hearing had to be postponed
