Whilst not directly relevant to here, it's quite something reading about the extra pressure that COVID will be putting on patients that survive, and in turn the NHS for a long time to come. I knew about the potential organ damage but the article sets out all sorts of other issues. I therefore think it's perhaps going to be even more desirable, than it obviously is, for governments to stop people getting to the hospitalisation stage, and not just surviving if they get there. Since, even if they survive in hospital, they may have long term problems that put more strain on the NHS for a long time.
