CW25 - I think what you'll see is, much like last time, all the trades from the PIs (and if we're lucky IIs) buying up their stock, on the trade feeds now. Then later on, you'll get some larger trades, which will be theirs as big aggregated sells (filled already by all the buying over the past few days and coming days).

I don't believe it would qualify as a tree shake. Simply Acacia dumping (as they have been for ages).
Still, they'll be soaking up the majority of these buys you would have thought, and we're getting closer and closer to them being finally out, and no selling pressure.

Seb46 - still continuining with your tirades? Here's an idea....try talking about the stock for once. Instead of your brainless hypocritical rants.

CW25 - and this is the exact reason they're doing it. The barrage of utter nonsense here is just designed to put people off.

Instead of talking about the fact that all the interferon beta trials seem to be going well, other drugs falling by the wayside, and interferons having an increased global focus....it's all silly arguments about missing a deadline that never existed.

Chrishar - I'm well aware of what's being posted. You're still stuck on your imaginary deadline that you invented and trying to get everyone to focus on it. Just because you keep calling it "intellectual criticism" it doesn't make it true. Good job you've got Seb46 to back you up each time. Another "intellectual".

How many people do you think they've got setting up these trials, across hospitals around the country, setting up a novel trial to deal with patients at home, ramping up the supply chain for interferon beta pending any success, analysing the data and preparing it for release, doing negotiations with any potential interested parties, and so on and so forth.

This is a tiny company with less employees than your average pub (excluding less-involed non-exec directors etc).

We should clearly get some of the expert posters on here running the company instead....we'd have been bought out for £10bn already if they'd been managing things!

Chrishar - there you go again with your snidey jibes. As I say....you people offer nothing but snidey jibes at posters and snidey jibes at the company. You get ridicule because you deserve it. It's as simple as that.

Some of you seem to be under the illusion that you've got the right to sit here insulting everyone who's optimistic, or sitting patiently for the results, and that we should not respond to your constant bedwetting because they haven't met a timeline that they didn't even set.

PS - stating that something is definitely late by biotech standards, in the middle of a global pandemic, and that if you don't think they're late, you're ignorant of biotechs, is just remarkably silly (although that was Nolupus not you).

Seb46 - If I "put people" down, it's almost always justified, and normally they've already dished it out directly or indirectly to lots of other posters as a whole. So I don't have any sympathy.
Having been on these boards for years I've got a thicker skin than most, have no desire to win any friends, and have seen countless people trying to manipulate the share price or just reacting angrily/emotionally because they don't understand what's going on.
So I don't care if I upset people, as basically everything I've been saying has played out, so I will continue to post my opinion for those who want to listen (with no guarantee I will get anything right in the future), and those who don't can remain in a state of blissful ignorance ;) (although it doesn't sound like bliss with all the whining....and alarm bells supposedly ringing around them)

This is another myth people try to perpetuate, that everyone here only has time for sky high predictions, as I think you'll find the last sky high prediction my exact words were:

As for it all being crazy saying IIs were selling....well they were. That's a fact. You've had the RNSs about it. Just like I told you would happen after they'd been doing it for a while and wouldn't report through each percentage point (despite people disagreeing with me).

Frankly this board has more than its fair share of people wanting to talk of anything they can twist into a negative.....so are you surprised some of the other investors try to be positive, in a company they're invested in, and think has great potential very soon to be realised?

Seb46 - I don't constantly **** people off. I might constantly disagree with people but that's totally different. Especially when they clearly don't understand things very well. I've got good reason to disagree with lots of people if lots of them are wrong (as many people frequently are).

To use Chrishar's phrase. I'm quite suspicious of lots of people and their negative interpretation of everything. They won't entertain any talk of high prices and the exciting potential but instead focus on every negative as if it's world ending. He's a good example....saying everyone should be worried about "late" COPD results. They're not late. They said the summer. Talking about alarm bells is just pathetic.

Seb46 - for once try starting a post without criticising everyone else before you go on to post your nonsensical ramblings.....

What we might hope for, is one of the other II's, to buy some more.....since they, along with us, will benefit from a stronger price reaction, upon good results, the less Acacia have left. So could be in their interest as well as ours.

Buy a load of stocks worth say £400m, for £200m, and flog them for £300m, without taking any risk.

It'd be like saying to Asthma patents, you can't have your inhaler, we're going to march you in and out of hospitals for injections instead.
Talking about their patents they say "Interferon-beta, especially if freeze-dried, is known to form aggregates or stick to container surfaces, requiring careful control of dosing and in-use stability during administration."
Well whoopy do....you've got something that doesn't stick to a container and needs someone carefully administering in hospital.....
SNG's inhaled version looks a far more distributable and marketable proposition.

Well it would be quite handy if the WHO come out and say interferon beta helps a lot....as SNG have the patent for the inhaled delivery form for most of the world, which you can package up and ship out to everyone, and don't need to come to hospitals for injections of it.
