Despite the buy price not moving the sell price has been creeping up. Now at 41.81p last quote. Perhaps at least one of the MMs is trying to get as much stock as possible.
I think he means because otherwise the MMs would be becoming insanely net-short of shares soaking up all this buying without having any to sell. The real interesting thing is the scale of the buying is off the charts.
Chrishar - as I said to ChrisToffer. If you do want to get the rest then try via phone. You'll probably have more luck that way. (still can't buy in smaller batches on IG)
Alternatively, if that doesn't work, try doing your trade over the phone Chris. I believe there's some peculiarity where they're obliged to deal via phone but not necessarily all the time electronically.
Becoming harder to get quotes and erroring on IG. Only taking larger trades at present. I think the MM holding things down has given up for a moment and gone to hide in the corner.
I suppose the market makers could be caught very short again judging by all these large buys. I imagine they're hoping they'll get lots of sells if they hold it here and people think the rise has failed. Although whoever it is buying still hammering the ask with buys really isn't helping them.
A decent article on interferon beta treatment. Now bear in mind, SNG should be able to do this better, with direct delivery to lungs, and with less side effects. Those outcomes look better than a lot of the numbers I've seen from remdesivir for example.
Depends on the share Ghia. If small amounts it doesn't matter but if dealing in large amounts you sometimes get a better quote staying under a limit (presumably the market size of a particular MM). Generally PI trades tend to be more of the odd number ones but not always is probably the answer to your underlying question ;)
Reckon if I run that back and forth in a translator, from English to Chinese and then Chinese to English, ten times, it'll make any more or less sense?
I don't think that the device/drug manufacture costs will be significant in any way. A bit like petrol over here where the cost of the fuel itself is minimal and it's virtually all tax. The cost of production of this would pale in comparison to the sale price to be pretty irrelevant. Just got to hope it shows efficacy like most of the other trials involving interferon beta.
