One thing is certain......news could come at any moment now.
Any prediction is sheer guesswork and an almost total stab in the dark. It could be today, tomorrow, next week, or the week after, etc.

I do find it quite staggering the price when you see the numbers on HUM (ignoring future projects).
A market cap of £120m and they're on track to produce 120k oz of gold this year at an AISC of somewhere between $800-900/oz.
That's $108m to $120m generated each year at current gold price!
The bizarre thing is the current share price, which counter-intuitively, is off-putting because it's not risen more.
However in the absence of a good reason I can find for that - I have to take it as an opportunity! (so I, finally, have :p)

I don't think it'd be as simple as just varying the formulation Chris otherwise AZN wouldn't have committed to the hundreds of millions when they were going for the Asthma indication. They'd just have done that themselves. Therefore I'm pretty comfortable the patent is good enough for its purpose (i.e. inhalation of IFN-B).

Well I've finally taken the plunge and bought back in here (can't remember when I was last in here - long time ago).
Dithered for ages over which goldie to choose (wanted some exposure in gold).
But decided I'd be more annoyed by seeing this continue to rise after this pullback than I would if I bought now and it got back to 30p that I might have wanted.

Yes I know that. They have a patent on the inhalation method for treating not interferons as a whole obviously.

I'd give RM a ring if I thought it was something significant that needed clearing up (don't mean to sound flippant).
IR won't know anything (they're generally just like your marketing department and will point you to existing information). However I'm confident I know what his answer would be, in that they feel their IP is well protected, and that they're either aware or not bothered. In fact the increasing body of evidence supporting IFN-B usage (inhaled or not) is really only a good thing for SNG.
Of course if someone was trying to sell or distribute inhaled IFN-B....I imagine they might be on the phone to the lawyers ;)

aj242 - I'm well aware of how drug trials work. Things that show even a degree of merit on COVID have a funny way of being expedited far faster than the usual approvals. You might need to google Emergency Use Authorisation. Remdesivir got that back in May for example.

johnht - The top was higher than that. I sold some at 49/50p (and have since bought them back). Was a natural point for traders to jump out. It was only brief though. I think the Acacia selling kicked in around 46/47p on the way back down from memory (not certain).

aj242 - if I thought this could only reach 65p/75p I wouldn't have invested a penny here! Depends what the positive RNS is. If they show impact in COVID and there's a bunfight to get it sold around the world it should be a whole load more than that. Impact in COPD could justify 65p-70p with the home trial to come.

Eva - they're not offloading continuously I'd say (again). More like the opposite...ie sporadically. So yeah, this probably isn't going to hit 80p again without news, as you say, but it could hit 50p, if history repeats itself, but more importantly, news could easily come before Acacia start dumping another block.

johnht - those rules aren't worth the paper they're printed on would probably be the shortest way of answering your question ;)

The absolute irony is Acacia are just doing what Link Fund should have done as administrators of the Woodford fund wind up.
Which is sell the shares into the market carefully without tanking the price. They’ve put pressure on the price but always let it rise back. Apart from holding you couldn’t ask for much more.

I don’t think Acacia are selling now. Their MO is to offload into volume and generally after the price has risen a lot. They appear to have stopped selling at about 35p each time.
At the moment I think it’s just PI buying and PI selling.
Last time the turnaround took between a few days and a week before rises started to be sustained more with no Acacia selling.
We’re already a few days in and the trading is encouraging but no liftoff just yet. All about sentiment now and that just takes time generally as the realisation sets in there’s no selling pressure down here (other than a few PIs).

It was "this time next month or something like that". It was very vague. And that was only referring to COVID not COPD.
So really news could come at any time now and trying to read into it too much is futile.
He may even have been giving himself a little leeway for all we know (that'd be sensible).
Anyway, trading looking decent again, with buying at about 35p coming in once more.
Still following the pattern of Acacia stopping selling and PI sells gradually drying up.

Those aren't investor contacts Bebeto - probably best not to fill their inboxes with guff when they're the ones working one data we all want....

The higher volume days in the past few months have been 5-8 million and that's without any results.

kwaboy - I don't think there will be much more. Don't think they've been selling in past few days. I think they've just been the extra selling on top of PI selling. Everyone always discounts PI selling but they're the most fickle of all. Like CW25 says, they appear to have stopped now, and will almost certainly need volume to sell into now, so they'll need a run upwards in price on anticipation or news to land to generate the volume. If it's good news then they won't matter anymore and be gone swiftly!
